Why did King just jump out of the background in the Korean stage in KOF 94 and kick Choi? I was playing as Mai at that moment so is it possible that it was one of her moves?

  king of fighters has some conditions that will cause still standing back up characters to protect teammates
  
  only certain characters do, usually if the player is dizzied and another character is still up, they'll knock down the other player to prevent them from capitalizing on the dizzy
