Well that's odd. I searched all over to see if it could possibly be real and I found nothing. I guess very few people know about these.

Is it based on the Genesis or arcade version? The other ones in the same line appear to be Genesis titles (like Ecco the Dolphin).

There is very little info about these games aside from what segaretro.org has. Even searching "Golden Axe Windows 98" brings up nothing aside from the one image of the disc from the eBay listing. If it wasn't for that link above, I never would've known. Everything about the game cover looked suspicious, especially how the background image on the front has no color and is only behind Tyris Flare. I guess not much effort went into making these.
