Need to investigate why there was no Worm War II🤔
Perhaps a sequel could be made as a homebrew. It would be nice to see a follow up to it.

Are these enhanced games 7800 compatible? I assume they would since they work on old 2600 hardware. Just wondering if anyone has had any issues?
The copy of Berzerk enhanced I have works on my 7800 without issue.

Yes.

I bought some more loose 2600 carts. They'll arrive within a few days.

Thanks!! It does work with paddles. Shame it doesn't with joysticks as it seems to ramp up the difficulty when using paddles for some reason.
I have that game and I can't play it on the 2600+ because I didn't update the console. Therefore, I must play the game on my 7800 with a joystick instead which is fine. I don't have any paddles at the moment. I did preorder the stand alone pack from Atari. But they don't release until late May.

But I just got a Hyperkin Trooper and I have to say I m quite impressed, more use is required, but I think it will have it's place for some games.
I have that joystick. It's a good one.

SPACECHASE PAL 2600 arrived🤗
The previous owner was German, too.
He cut out only the German parts of the manual and put them together at the backside of the front page.
I am quite happy with this, didn't know I get a manual at all and so I've learned you can fight at day AND night🤙
Pretty cool, so we got both, we got Country and Western😂
I like this game. It's on my list.

I think Champ Games should be making double-ender cartridges. One side is the classic 2600 compatible version and the other side is the 2600+ compatible version.
Hopefully they would do this. If it happens I'd definitely buy them.

Not too many switch configurations thou, I think 8 to 10 games max. Anything more and you would have to be a professional safe cracker to find the games...even with instructions! 😂
8 to 10 would make sense. I made it 6 as an example.

2600 on one end, 7800 on the other
I was thinking the same thing. It would be nice to have both console versions on one cart. And on the slim chance that double ended carts with dip switches happened, one side is 2600 games and the other side is 7800 games.

I had always hoped for a Galaxian/Galaga double ender type cart.
That would've been cool. Too bad they didn't make one.

As interesting as these things are, and I have one myself, I prefer a cart with Dip switches - You get a standard size cart and you have the option of two or more games instead of just two.
The carts with dip switches are good. What if a double ended cart came out with dip switches? That would be neat. For example, each side has 3 games. So, the double ended cart has 6 games on it. It can be more, I chose 6 games but anyway. This most likely will never happen but one can dream.

That's slightly cheaper. With the shipping fees to the UK thou.. I'll just have to be content playing it on the Atari 50 collection for now, I think.
I too have the Atari 50 collection. I haven't played Dark Chambers in a while. I should get back into it. I like the 7800 version over the 2600 version.

Dark Chambers 7800 is going for absolutely crazy prices at the mo, loose and complete. £130 plus complete! WTF! 😲
I just checked and there are a few loose copies on eBay. The prices are not too high. You might want to take a look.

Next month, I'm getting more loose carts for the 2600. The collection is growing but I'm just taking my time with adding to it.

I prefer Mr. do to dig dug.
I like Dig Dug and its sequel. I haven't played Mr. Do in a while. Last time was as a ROM. I think it was the first game I played of the series. Because there is a sequel called Mr. Do's Castle. I can't recall which one I played back then. There were more games after Mr. Do's Castle but not on the 2600. Anyway, it'll be good to have the original game on cart. I'd like to get the sequel but it's expensive.

I'll probably pick up burgertime for my collection . Dark Cavern is a yes for me. Astroblast...No
I played Burgertime Deluxe for the Gameboy on Ant Stream. It's pretty good. Ant Stream has a lot of games from consoles & computer (Atari 8-bit) to arcade. Anyway I do have the arcade version of Burgertime on the Data East collection for Evercade. I also have Dark Cavern & Astroblast as loose carts. I like the M Networks versions as well as the INTV versions. I have the INTV collections for Evercade. Collection 1 includes Nightstalker & Astrosmash.
