For some reason I've been watching Mac Classic auctions... not sure exactly what I'd do w/ a B&W 68k Mac, but it seems appealing...

  Old B&W Macs are great for writing. The problem would be in getting your manuscript off of it in order to be published.

  Could get a Color Classic. Same awesome form factor but a color screen and better specs, also some of the pizza board Macs like the LC III, Quadras, etc. are more powerful and expandable than the all-in-ones, though not as cool.

  Should be able to buy an external USB floppy drive off ebay for $15 or so, connect to a modern Mac, and use that to get the data off the older Mac.
