Why does every router I get just decide to stop working out of the blue every few months? Nothing like spending 2 hours of your morning as "IT guy." I still don't know what's wrong.

  I got tired of the same thing and purchased a small form factor PC to use as a router. It runs linux and has been rock solid for 2 years now. No reboots, except for software updates.
