    Can anyone recommend a good, solid, reliable UPS? The cheapo APC unit I bought a year ago is garbage, even after a brand new battery. It jsut shuts off with any kind of power fluctuation, let alone outtage.

      I am using a CyberPower 1500A (https://www.cyberpowersystems.com/product/ups/cp1500avrlcd/). 28" 4k monitor, 17" LCD, Intel Core i7, GTX1080. Been rock solid.
