  1. "The Mummy" with Tom Cruise was absolutely awful, but "War of the Worlds" with Tom Cruise was excellent.  No idea why I randomly picked up two Tom Cruise movies at the library, but that's fate's roll of the dice.

War Of The Worlds has some of the best surround sound ever! Especially the runaway train!

I remember telling my friend right before we saw War of the Worlds in the theater;  Remember Close Encounters?  And how terrifying the alien encounters were?  Now what if the same guy made a movie where the aliens were NOT Friendly?

I'l tell ya,  (like most Spielberg films), That movie was quite well done.  Back when we were running it at work on Pay Per View;  Myself and 2 other coworkers had dreams that it had really happened.

Of course,  I was also already a fan of the original book by H G Wells too :)  I used to think how awesome it would be if a movie ever came out based directly on it,  including the 1890s England setting.

Maybe next you could do Oblivion (Which is Awesome!) and (The exact name prolly escapes me) Edge of Tomorrow (?) Which they retitled Live Die Repeat (Which is also pretty good)...I'd give each its own night though...No need to overdose on the Epicness.
