So I just read a series of comics that came highly recommended for their "modern feel" and "mature themes." 'Maturity' and 'splattering transformers' head-goo all over' are not the same thing. Not by a long shot. Pretty much how I feel about video games too.

Okay. Got the week off, fresh battery in the saturn, and it's time to try to get into panzer dragoon saga again. I've never 'gotten' this game, but it took about 4 tries for chrono trigger to win me over, so there's hope.

This Pitfall game for the Nintendo Gamecube was a total waste of my money.

My weight is down to 164. A few months ago it was 185. And my waist went from 36" to 33". I walk a lot, run a little, and lift weights to maintain muscle mass.

I actually had a chance to play some 7800 last night: Hat Trick & Super Skateboarding. I've owned Super Skateboarding for about a year, but I've never actually popped it in until last night. It's meh. Hat Trick is solid, though.

So I just got a notice in the mail today -- I've been selected for Jury Duty! I have to report on the morning of Wed 10-28. I realize that the number of people who are selected to sit is pretty small, but they said it's still going to require two days to get that point. I'm both looking forward and dreading it at the same time. If I do make the cut and it's a interesting case it could be well worth it -- I've had some friends who have had some expeirences like that...
