In my now 16 years in high tech, I have yet to hear a software developer say the words, "this code I inherited is absolutely amazing! I don't need to re-factor this!" I suspect I never will :-)

"Shadow of the Beast" for Genesis is a cool game. You have to be precise with your attacks. Generally if you mash buttons, you'll get hit. The graphics and music have an almost haunting quality about them. So far I can get past the first tree area, but I haven't made it much further than that.

Watching the extended director's cuts of all three The Hobbit movies and all three The Lord of the Rings movies back to back. What a way to spend a Friday! =D
