I just purchased Last Blade 2 for the Neo Geo CD. I got it for a good price, too. Only $57!
I want to really get into the series. I have the first game on MVS, but $57 is cheaper than $200 on MVS.

Hey @Dopy25,
I hope you enjoy Nam 75. Even though its a reproduction, it works well in the Top Loader.
I can’t wait to hear what you have to say about the game! According to tracking, you should have it on the 23rd.

Iam sure, that the more Tru learns about the Jaguar, the better MK will improve on its way to completion.
I agree. I’m waiting for the finished version. I’m not sure if Tru will release it on cart, but if not, I’ll have a reason to buy a Game Drive.

I was referring to the statement about the Jaguar Object Processor was not capable enough.
I was too; I never believed it wasn’t capable. Tru is proving it’s a capable processor/chip!

Hey thank you so much! I look forward to playing it.
I just got my power cable in the mail today so I'll be working on that in the meantime.
Definitely appreciating all the love in this thread
Check your private messages. NAM 75 is on it’s way!

I dont think a lot of people would agree to that
I don’t (and never will) agree with it. I always believed MK would be a killer app on the Jaguar. I’m glad it’s happening!

@ColecoGamer I completely understand it going to Shane or Anthony, but if they pass, and you decide I would be worthy of such a spectacular gift, I would cherish it in my collection. I understand it being a reproduction, but it's still a super cool topic of conversation. I'm still waiting on my first official game. I ordered King of Fighters from Japan so it's taking some time. Crazy overall, because my NGCD came in less than 5 days.
Once I get a game in and can have some input for this thread, I should be posting a lot more. haha
You can have it, Dopy. Shane doesn’t want it and Anthony already has an original copy. As long as you own a single-speed unit, the game will work fine. Free of charge, of course.
if you can provide your shipping details via p.m. tonight, I’ll mail it out tomorrow.

Yes, I agree. I have a copied version which works until I can buy an original. Cheaper for you to give it to somebody in the US bro. 👍
Even if I ship it as a gift (which what it is), you would still have to pay custom charges?

Thank you for the offer Mike. But I have that game in the collection. I appreciate you doing this for me, but that would be greedy and would rather see it in the hands to someone who doesn't have it. Maybe @shane857 @Dopy25 or @-^CrossBow^- would like it.
Anthony...
@shane857 Would you like a free copy of Nam 1975 for your Neo-Geo CD? It works on the single-speed Top Loader, not the CDZ. I found a copy that works. Send your mailing address via PM, and I’ll send it out. It’s on me, man. No need to pay anything. This copy has no place in my collection, if I can’t play it.

Oh wow! That's awesome news to know Mike. Glad you have Magician Lord to add to the mix. What do you plan to do with the fake NAM-1975 bro? Still thinking of keeping it?
Anthony..
I’m willing to give it to someone who wants it. It really doesn’t have a purpose here in my collection. You’re welcome to it if you want, Anthony.

I think the exact sentence was rather that it would be difficult or even impossible to make a pixel perfect because of the insufficient RAM on the Jaguar and/or the insufficient speed of the cartridge port as well as the particularity of these display modes compared to the majority of 2D arcade games of the time (tile mode and very large CLUT)
Your memory is better than mine! Thank you for chiming in!
-
Great news! A new copy of Nam 1975 works perfectly on my CDZ! So my first copy was a terrible fake. I also purchased Magician Lord and I’ve been really enjoying it too!

Really, who said that?
It happened during an argument a very long time ago, so I can’t honestly remember who said it. I believe the argument was about the Jaguar’s Object Processor, and how it wasn’t strong enough (or too buggy) to pull off a good port of Mortal Kombat.
-
And people said it couldn’t be done.
I can’t wait to play the finished game.
-
I’m interested in the Game Gear and the games. How much?
-
I watched the broadcast, too, and I was excited to say the very least. I’ve bought all of Champ Games’ releases so far, and this will be another Day 1 purchase for me.

Hi Mike,
I personally feel that SNK is not in a position to release a new game system at this time. Yes, that would be great. But they just started to get back on track and now we are finally seeing investers taking interest in the company and spending the big bucks on SNK and franchises getting releases after years of lying dormant. Would be nice to see them do so. But at the current market, I feel they should concentrate on making software. I would like to see Ikari Warriors return or better yet, Crystalis. What a game that was.
Anthony...
You make good points, Anthony. Maybe if SNK brought back more IPs (i.e. Crystalis, Ikari Warriors, Psycho Soldiers, etc) we’d see a more diverse SNK.
If you’re reading this SNK, bring back your old IPs. Yes, I am happy to see KOF and the new Fatal Fury, but us fans want more!

@Charlie Cat, what is your take on SNK today? Do you feel they should have released a new system (cartridge or CD) to secede the MVS and Hyper 64?

The best song in the game, imho:
