  1. I bought an expanded A8 600 from 800-Rocks a couple years ago and its perfect. He installed the 64K RAM expansion for me before shipping it. I recommend this seller!
  2. Impressive! I only recently learned about these computers. Why they never caught on (and why they didn’t outsell the Amiga) is surprising to me.
  3. Looks like a processor and/or video chip problem. Could also be faulty RAM.
  4. As the title states… PM me if you have one for sale.
  5. The Kickstarter link will be posted in this thread (and other computer/console threads) when the time comes.
  6. I appreciate the compliment! I plan on releasing the Amiga trailer soon, even though it’ll be the same as the Apple II trailer, but with enhanced Amiga AGA screenshots.
  7. Thank you, Anthony. Yup, there is a toolkit available for the Genesis/Megadrive that allows my game to be made on Sega’s beast of a console, while including sprites, full-screen animation and the like. I am so excited!
  8. Once the playable demo is finished, hopefully there will be more interest in this project. I am porting it to the Amiga, Atari ST and Sega Genesis, btw.
  9. I’ve waited long enough for this SDK to take shape; it now has all the features I’ve been looking for!
  10. How it plays: Vampasm uses a combination of choice selections (think Konami’s Snatcher) and a text field to type in more advanced subjects (i.e. solving puzzles, entering character’s names to either speak about specific topics or resource vital information about the story, and execute specific actions (i.e. fighting, etc) Content that may or may not make it into the Apple II version: 1.) Full-length 2D Cinematics 2.) A city map (instead of a physical, printed one that would be included in the physical release.) 3.) Joystick support for the combat sequences (depends on what happens during development (i.e. limited time, heavy work load during development, etc) Warning… Vampasm is NOT to be played by children. The game’s contents will mirror an R rated movie.
  11. Vampasm A Choose Your Own Destiny Visual Novel Game Machine: Apple IIe, Apple IIc Requirements: 128K RAM Floppy Drive / Emulator Drive Keyboard Features: Music, Sound, 8-bit Animation Future Target Platforms: Amiga ECS, Amiga AGA, Atari 520ST, Atari 1040ST, New Atari VCS 16-bit Enhancements Planned: 16-bit Enhanced Music, 16-bit Enhanced Sound Effects, 16-bit Enhanced Animation, Hand drawn 2D Cinematics The story thus far… As Tyrone, the Vampire hunter - you wake in Central Park in Neo New York city with a headache. You don’t know how you got there and your memory before the incident is foggy. All you can remember is a place called The Jaded Dragon Night Club and your occupation - a Vampire Slayer. The year is 2093. Vampires have intergraded into human society and use night clubs as their feeding ground. While the Vampire’s origins are still debatable, it all began in 2052. The need for trained vampire hunters became a reality, shortly after the existence of these creatures was proven to be legitimate. Some experts of the day argued that vampirism was an illness that rode on the back of a giant celestial rock (an asteroid) that impacted the Earth back in 2038. Others argued that vampires always co-existed alongside mankind, but no evidence was ever found to prove this theory. In fact, the existence of vampires happened by late 2050, when a small Texas town was besieged by a large group of these cannibalistic monsters. Vampire hunting pumps through your veins; its become a family tradition of sorts, as many of your ancestors were self-accomplished vamp hunters. Now the torch (or rather the stake) has been handed down to you. As a hunter, you must register in your hometown (in this case, Neo New York) and receive a valid hunting license. There are specific rules to hunting the NightStalkers (as they are generally called; saying Vampire feels so 20th Century). Though they are many, there is ONE rule that MUST be followed - always be sure the person you are hunting is a NightStalker. Otherwise, it becomes murder. Are you ready to take on the phenomenon and learn who assaulted you? The choice is yours…
  12. Not sure why this happened in the trailer, but the game supports 128k RAM.
  13. Thank you! You have been a wealth of information on my journey to develop my project. That program you sent is amazing, btw. I love it so much, that I decided to purchase a complete copy off eBay. Thank you again!
  14. What does the dip-switch do? It sounds like it works with the 138 -in- 1 MVS cartridge?
  15. I’m having difficulty finding some of the software you suggested. @Iamgroot, do you know of any online Apple II software repository websites, where I can find the tools you so kindly mentioned? Thank you in advance!
  16. I appreciate all the useful info you have provided me. I’ll mention what package I choose, after checking them all out.
