An excerpt from the interview:
“In discussing some of the intellectual properties owned by Activision Blizzard, Spencer’s excitement may have mirrored the enthusiasm of a “StarCraft” player noticing the long-dormant franchise’s logo in Microsoft’s acquisition announcement.
“I was looking at the IP list, I mean, let’s go!” Spencer said. “ ‘King’s Quest,’ ‘Guitar Hero,’ … I should know this but I think they got ‘HeXen.’ ”
“HeXen,” indeed an Activision Blizzard property, is a cult hit first-person game about using magic spells.”

What’s on my mind? A bit too much. My recent Covid test came back ‘Positive’. I have no symptoms, but I suspect I caught it from my mother, who isn’t feeling well, as you know. Now I’m quarantining myself. Oh, yay!

@doctorclu I’m happy to hear that your father is doing well. This Covid virus is no joke; it ruins lives rather quickly. I can’t wait for the pandemic to be over, if this isn’t just wishful thinking on my part. It feels like you are jeopardizing your own life by just grocery shopping. I’m sure I am not alone in thinking that I never thought I would live to see a modern day plague sweeping through our world.

Hey, that is a fantastic idea, Charlie. It’s funny you should mention the home kits. I was just at the local gas station filling up the car. When I walked in to pay, they had Covid in-home kits available for purchase. I don’t picture gas stations as the best place to get one of these kits, but the timing of your comment and my seeing this in-home kit is coincidental.

thanks eBay, for NOT sending me an e-mail letting me know something sold. And no, it's not in a junk folder. Found out just by logging in. Haven't sold anything in a while and see their website is clunkier than ever. Why does nearly everything internet related have to turn to shit before long?

It looks like the first Neo Geo CD console is lost forever. I hope whoever confiscated my package ends up enjoying it! The eBay seller in question refunded my money, and I can only assume that they filed an insurance claim on their end. I turned around and purchased a second unit, but this time it was CIB. It arrived rather quickly from Japan (less than 5 days), and it works perfectly! I’m very happy right now.

I highly recommend Iron Crypticle for Nintendo Switch. It’s a twinstick, dungeon shooter that borrows many of its core gameplay mechanics from games like Bezerk, Robotron and Smash TV! This was the best $10 I’ve ever spent on the Nintendo eShop.
