  1. I have a question: I own a consolized MVS by Neotropolis (sp?), but it didn’t come with a memory card reader. Would it be possible to buy one and attach it to my system?
  2. Speaking of buying games: someone on eBay was selling Razoola’s Crossed Swords II conversion for MVS at a very respectable price and I couldn’t resist. I’m waiting patiently for it to arrive.
  3. Nice! It reminds me of the platformers I used to play on the Amiga and Atari ST.
  4. Email sent for (1) physical boxed copy of Uwol Quest for Money! ☺️
  5. Have you played Atari today?

  6. I’ve heard about the NeoSD cart! How much are they and does one exist for the MVS?
  7. Hey fdurso224, Thank you, I am very happy to be back! 2018 wasn’t so great, if you know what I mean! I’m staying positive that 2019 will be a lot better. I’m glad to hear that everyone here pre-ordered Xeno Crisis. I came across the BitmapBureau by chance, and I was blown away by their game and prices! I pre-ordered both the MVS and NGCD versions of the game. I haven’t decided just yet, but I may go back and pre-order the Switch version too, just to have it on the go.
  8. Shut up and take my money! When can we order this kick-ass compliation?
  9. Hey all! Long time, no see! I would imagine that everyone here is aware of Xeno Crisis for Neo-Geo? It is releasing for AES, MVS and NGCD during Q2. The developer, The Bitmap Bureau, is also releasing their game for Genesis, Dreamcast, PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch. Here is the exciting part: the AES/MVS releases are only selling for $270! The collector editions are sold out, but the standard editions are still available for sale. The NGCD version is only $40. I have already pre-ordered my copy. ☺ Pre-Order: https://shop.bitmapbureau.com/ Xeno Crisis Gameplay Video: https://youtu.be/h7Dv2wEJtyI
  10. Yes, you may want to change it to its proper spelling, which is copyright. Otherwise, you have a unique lineup of fighters. This game could actually be popular, as long as you work out the bugs and spend enough time on the characters. Looking forward to seeing some footage.
  11. Nice! Just remember that a game like Punch Out focuses on the characters and their personalities. A project like this will require good animation and different fighting styles to differentiate the boxers. Edit: Just some friendly advice.
  12. I remember playing this on the Amiga! Its a fun shooter with great graphics and sound. Im not sure if it could be ported easily to the Jaguar, though. I remember reading elsewhere that the Amigas custom chipset makes it difficult to port games to the Jaguar.
  13. I’m curious about this boxing project you are working on. What will the game mechanics be like? Will you be doing a third-person, Punch Out style game or something more akin to James ‘Buster’ Douglas Knock Out Boxing for Sega Genesis?
  14. My apologies if this question has already been asked, but will you be selling this on cartridge to people who are interested? Incredible work, btw!
  15. I have been playing Defender of the Crown for a long time, so here is the best advice I can give you: 1) Geoffery Longsword - Hes terrible at jousting, but hes good at sword fighting and leading his troops in battle. 2) You can increase your income by raiding enemy castles, capturing land and enemy castles, and building additional castles on land you own that dont already have a castle. 3) After purchasing your army, you need to transfer the soldiers from the same menu to create your army. Afterwards, you can travel the map by Conquesting. 4) Yes, you should back up during the raiding sequences. What works for me is charging the soldier and then backing up to avoid being hit. 5) This one is difficult to answer. The decision you make (if I remember correctly) should be based on the size of your army, etc. Dont hold me to it, though. 6) Jousting can help you win land without conquesting. You can also joust for fame, which can increase your income. (EDIT: As mentioned earlier, Geoffery is terrible at jousting, so it would be in your best interest to avoid it altogether. If an enemy forces you into a joust, joust for fame only. Its better to lose fame than land!) 7) You NEED to purchase as MANY knights as possible. If I remember correctly, one knight is equal to 10-15 soldiers. Also capture land as fast as possible. When you finally have enough gold, purchase a catapult and start sieging enemy castles. You should also protect your own castle(s) by purchasing enough soldiers/knights, and leaving them there. Otherwise, your castles will immediately fall when sieged by the NPC. I hope this helps!
  16. Ive been away dealing with personal situations, so I havent been able to post. Gaz, I responded to your PM about Rick Dangerous 2. I love the others games that were released, and I hope Im not too late to purchase this game. (Bought the wife a new car at the end of 2018. Unfortunately, on a drive home, a 4-point buck jumped a snow bank, hitting (and destroying) the passenger side of the vehicle. The damages came to $6,600. We have insurance, but the deductable wasnt so great. I had to put in a lot of overtime to pay for it. I missed out on some great games in the process. Im staying positive that 2019 is going to be a better year!) Edited for spelling.
  17. Congrats on putting up the Christmas decorations early! I went to the basement the other day where our decorations are stored. I saw all the boxes we have full of Christmas paraphernalia and then decided to wait until after the Thanksgiving Holiday to go through them. Yeah, I was feeling lazy that day. Lol Hey, if being a gamer means Im a bum, then Im a bum for life!
  18. I’m really excited about receiving my copy of DotC! According to my tracking number, it will be arriving on Friday. Looks like I’ll be busy over the weekend!
  19. I’ve been so excited about this release, it never crossed my mind to ask if DotC was numbered. Thank you for telling us, Al!
  20. My pre-order for DotC has been secured thanks to my wife. Who else is waiting patiently for this to release? Can anyone who bought the game at PRGE chime in wiith their opinion of the game? Just curious to know how well it translated to the Jaguar.
  21. I like how the OP used music from my favorite heavy metal band, Iron Maidien. The song heard in the above video(s) is from their album Fear of the Dark, which is a personal favorite of mine. The OP did a fantastic job recreating the song on the Atari 2600! For those interested, heres the actual song by Iron Maiden: [irl] [/url]
  22. My wife asked me what I wanted for Christmas the other day. I sat her down and showed her this (Mappy) and a handful of upcoming releases for the Atari Jaguar. She looked at me and smiled, and then said, You want an Atari Christmas dont you, honey? I hugged her and said , I love you too, honey! lol!
  23. I will be backing this. My Colecovision is getting on in years and it could use a replacement. I also see no reason to keep my current SGM adapter if I invest in this new console. Edit: Found the answer to my question.
