Bump. Price added. Thanks for looking!

Thank you for sharing! Really stupid question(s) since I am new to programming: is your source code written with 7800Basic or Assembly? And what did you use for a compiler to make it run when finished?
-
I am also open to a possible cash/trade as well. Mostly homebrew titles for the Colecovision, Intellivision or Atari 2600.

If interested, please visit the thread I posted in the marketplace:

Gone. Thank you for looking!

I like the idea of homebrew developers selling their games in ROM format for use with the Jaguar SD cartridge. I would still purchase the physical carts for my collection, though.

-
Capcom was able to crame Resident Evil 2 into an N64 cartridge, and the game was every bit as good as the PS1 version. So yes, I could see this working (and myself playing it) on the Jag.

Good news: I checked the seller’s items and he finally removed the offending, pirated Colecovision cartridges from eBay.
Here’s the interesting part, though: after giving me a song and dance about how he is clueless about retro gaming (and the Colecovision console in particular), I noticed that he turned around and put the following up for sale:
I suggest avoiding this guy like the plague. There are too many red flags involving his selling ethics and how he conducts himself on eBay.
-
It may feel that this is ridiculous to you in this specific case with this specific seller, but think about other sellers who have say a 30 day return policy and accept an item back within that time. Is it then fair that the buyer gives them negative feedback when they stayed completely within the rules?
Very true. I was looking to leave neutral feedback, but also noticed that the ability to leave one (or even a negative for that matter) were unavailable. I felt that despite everything, the seller deserved a neutral after he continued to feign ingnorance on what he was selling, after I explained to him more than once that what he had in his possession were pirated carts. He is still selling those other pirated carts on eBay (last I checked), so that tells me he doesnt really care either way.
-
One last thing: eBay would not allow me to leave a neutral or negative because the seller accepted my return, and issued a refund. Ridiculous.

I keep checking this thread for updates. You definitely succeeded at making people excited!

I don't know just yet.
Okay, sounds good. I still want a box either way.

-
How much extra will it be for a box, Franko?
-
Now. However you may want to hold for a few days. I'm contacting someone who may make boxes but I have to be sure first.
Yes!! I hope you can do a boxed release!

I finally received my refund from the seller, so this ordeal is finally over. I had to message the seller to receive it, though. Again, in a new message to me - he feigned ignorance about the authenticity of the carts he is selling, even though I have told him repeatedly that what he is selling are ‘fake’, pirated Coleco game cartridges.
Maybe someone else can reach out to this guy and rattle his cage a little? Despite being apologetic and polite towards me, I can’t help but wonder if he is deliberately feigning ignorance (and ignoring my warnings about those cartridges) just so he can continue selling them on eBay. I only came to this conclusion because he could easily take the info I gave him regarding those carts, and then Google it for future reference.
This was a lesson learned, that is for sure. And going forward - I will check here with the community (and read the Auction forum more regularly) before I purchase anything labeled a ‘prototype’ on eBay or elsewhere. I also hope my experience will serve as a lesson to those new to the hobby, who are looking to delve into rare/prototype cartridge collecting with no knowledge of what they’re doing. I got lucky this time; it could have been a lot worse than it was, and I am greatful to all who responded with their advice and opinions on the matter.
It just reenforces the choice I made by joining AA; it was the right thing to do.

Franko, what is the expected release date for Crazy Tank? I finally received a refund from an eBay transaction gone bad, so I can pay now instead of waiting until payday to replenish my gaming funds.
-
Still no refund from the seller ( I even sent him a follow up message). I could be wrong, but it seems like he is going to wait until the last gun is fired before issuing a refund. eBay says I have to now wait until May 22nd before I can get them involved. If the seller really wants to receive a strike on his account from eBay for non-payment (which will happen, if I am forced to escalate the case on the designated due date), then so be it.
-
And it has SGM support! I’m getting one!
-
Whoa! I am definitely backing this tool! Thank you, Orion!

The auction is already over $810. I wonder how much the final bid will be...
-
Just a quick update - things are going smoothly so far, so I am aiming to have all orders processed before the end of the month. In an idea world everything will ship over the bank holiday weekend, but I've made plans before

Thank you for the update, Gaz! Take your time; it just means that I will enjoy my purchase even more when it arrives.
