The rev B board uses the same mod, bud the ron chips is in the inverse side , pin1 is near to R1 resistor.

I'm make a copy of Commando from an old BugHunt cart, step by step:

 

1. Burn the correct cart image in a 27c100 eprom chip.

2. Unsolder the rom chip from the cart.

3. Solder eprom chip except pins 1,2,24,31,32 in the same line.

4. Conect pin 24 to pin 16; pins 1,32,31 to pin 30 and pin 2 to R2(see the pics).

5. For easy installation unsolder C1 capacitor and solder in the other side of the cart(see the pics).

6. Solder the W1 connect

7. Plug and play.

That is not the ROM series 23xxx are not compatible with the Eprom series 27xxx. Exactly I ask like adapting them
