  1. This “Motley Crue Reunion” thing is a complete joke. Vince better hit the gym and start singing the damn words again.

I'll tell ya (And I'm sure I will now sound like the drunk guy at the end of the bar, but still I carry on),   I saw the Crue in 1985 and later in 2012 (?)...And...While TBH Both concerts were fun,...Well, the 1985 show in Denver Ruled!!!    The later show in Cheyenne,  had all the later crap songs, but also it felt like they didn't even try on anything from Shout At The Devil (By Far their BEST!!)...In fact, the band playing on that Netflix movie Dirt was better at the earlier stuff than the real thing!  That said, it was nice to Finally see Motley Crue play my home town (a mere 30 years past their prime) but only 1.5 miles from my house!

Kickstart My Heart (cause I've just had a heart attack)

  2. They finally redesigned Sonic and made it look actually good. Hallelujah! That first design was pure nightmare-fuel. I’m thinking I might actually go and see it now.

The movie itself actually looks pretty decent now as well. Daughter gave me the heads up that there's a new Scooby Doo movie on its way as well, although they've decided to Pixar all over it this time. Looks better for it.

Well, it can't be any worse than Super Mario Bros.

@Nathan Strum that movie would've been WAY better if they got this guy (pic related) to play Mario.

  3. I’m back! Kinda. I’ve been very busy lately, and playing other things. I’m gonna try to be online more often now because I miss being on here. I also have a lot of catching up to do, but I promise from now on that I am here to stay!

Welcome back - you can check out, but you can never leave :)

  4. I’ve never met anyone in my life who admitted to clicking on website ads, but I understand. “Gotta do whatcha gotta do.”
  5. I never thought all those “Sans in Smash Bros.” memes would become a reality...

  6. Why does everyone think Sonic Adventure 2 is so good? Nostalgia is one thing, but I think its no better than other recent Sonic games. Its so overrated that when people see a flaw in a modern Sonic game, they hate it. But then they forget that it was in SA2 as well.

I find all of the Sonic games to be flawed to some degree, even the classic 2D games on the Genesis.  Stylish, but flawed.

Personally, I don't care for ANY of thr Sonic Adventure games.  The first one on DC was a buggy mess.  I've tried and tried again to get into that game, over the course of decades.  It's one of those I used to pull out every couple of years and think "I should give this a try, it can't be as bad as I remember." And yet, there it is.  I actually did like SA2 okay, I wouldn't say it's a great game, but way better in comparison to the first.

2D Sonic FTW!!!   Although I did just order Sonic Generations because it looked interesting and I don't always keep up with newer stuff...

  7. Back from yet another hiatus. I’ve just been caught in lot of personal stuff lately, but now I’m back and going to be participating in the 2600 HSC again!

      Of course I am. :)

  8. I was going to buy Doom for my Switch today, but not anymore. Why did Bethesda put DRM in a 23 year old game? DRM does the exact opposite of what its supposed to do. It actively encourages piracy.

Are you talking about the (currently) mandatory registration for Bethesda.net? That's not DRM, that's just a stupid business decision.

Everything you can buy on the eShop has digital rights management, it's not as if you can just copy it from your SDcard and run it on an Android tablet.

This whole "Slayer's Club" thing is a lame excuse...don't we already log in PSN or Xbox Live for achivements already?

Yes you can take the WADs from the DOS version and run it on an open port for any Android device or jail broken Switch but I guess it's easier for kids to pay $5 for a bad Unity port...

  9. WHOA! I'm offline for a few hours only to come back and see that everything looks completely different! I'm not sure how I feel about this new look, but I'll probably get used to it eventually.

There's still work to do, and the theme will need some refinement.

lol! At least it's a good sign of things to come for previously X-Box exclusive games? The rumor mill seems to indicate that Ori and the Blind Forest is on the way to the Switch, and Super Lucky's Tale has been confirmed by the developers to coming as well.

  14. I’ve been overwhelmed with work yet again, and I’m back to posting yet again....
