Is MSE a bullet hell game? I'm already not the best at shmups...

Wouldn't it be odd if they didn't eventually release a bundle? I mean, I know what company we're talking about. Never bet the farm on any sort of expectations from Nintendo, but I'd be shocked, frankly.

It's what Nintendo has done, as well. I got my Wii U with Mario Kart 8 and Windwaker HD.

Just wait until the fall, there will be a bundle.

Midway Arcade Origins got added today (along with Tekken 6 and Mutant Storm Empire, whatever that is).

How is that 1-2-Switch game not pack-in? I wonder what the over/under for disposable income is when you start to actually consider buying that game....

NOA just confirmed that the free monthly game is only a free rental for a month, after which you have to pay for it to keep it. Well, no one can claim that Nintendo isn't still doing it's own thing....

Dishonored 2 (XB1) - I don't play a bunch of new AAA games these days, but man, these games really take the spirit of the Thief series and run with it in a fun, satisfying way. 5 stars. Would Far Reach again.

It's constantly on sale on Steam though, like everything there. It was something like $10 at Christmas. And it's not that I'm trying to get it, I was just responding to the post that said there aren't many on the leaderboards.

I remember when GOG was just only selling old PC games, autoconfigured for DOSBox. Now, they're more about the indie game scene, but the old DOS games are still there. Nice that it's DRM free, too. I got into Steam by buying Civilization 3 at the store, getting home, putting the disk in the drive, and being forced to use Steam to download the game. That pissed me off, let me tell you. But, I've come around, especially since I use it more for indie or older games, as my PC is never quite good enough for new AAA titles. I don't play a lot of those, but when I do it's on a console.

Steam often has deep discounts, so that's not surprising. I've bought a lot of games on Steam for a few bucks that I've yet to even open yet. Yeah, I picked up those Namco games, too, but I wouldn't have if I knew they were 1 player only. And no, even using a VPN, changing my region stops me from being able to buy anything, even things I can normally buy here, at least on XBL.

Slowly making my way through Fire Emblem Awakening. Got a New 3DS when the new Mario Bros version came out in November. But this is my first portable system I've owned, and I don't really have a lot of time to play it.

While the biggest reason the numbers are low is that it's likely most owners of new systems have no interest in retro games, it doesn't help that these aren't available outside the U.S. (I assume, I know I can't get it in Canada).

I really like the front end UI, very clean and easy to use. Saving state is simple, and the chiptune they made for the front end is really catchy. While there are many things one can complain about with the NES Classic, there's a lot to like about it.
