  1. 211,400 I always try to stay on the floor below the top floor. More room to dodge fireballs and you're right were the critters enter the screen. -S
  2. Take it to Radio Shack and see if they can get one for you. -S
  3. Thanks a bunch for that info on the booster brip. I've been trying to track that down myself. -S
  4. As long as we're using his terminoligy that would actually be a Sears six shooter. -S
  5. The IIGS version of Arkanoid is really great. I had the Apple II paddles controllers though. -S
  6. Actually I think the manual refers to the square things as "wafers" and the round ones in the bonus levels as "coins". When I was a kid I always thought the round ones were albums and the square ones were were album covers. -S
  7. The ET carts at the very bottom of the landfill are pretty hard to get ahold of. -S
  8. Going by memory, I think only two pins are used on both. Even if you needed a switch it wouldn't be much trouble to wire it in for only two wires. -S
  9. In the 2600 HSC it's just going on the honor system. This is all just for fun, I can't imagine anyone is cheating. -S
  10. I'm pretty sure Happs has them, thought they would be specific to the brand of coin door that you have. I don't what brand you've got there. -S
  11. That's something I intend to try in the near future (once that lot of cables I got on ebay gets here). Not sure whether a swich is needed or not, but I'll find out. -S
  12. That hadn't occured to me, but it's a possibility. -S
  13. Take the black and white switch apart and clean the contacts inside. Pry the ends of the spring up a bit to increase the tension. Put it back together and see if this makes a difference. Also you might try adjusting the color pot which is below the power switch. -S
  14. All commons, but still a bargain for a buck. -S
  15. I had a set of car wheels shipped from England and shipping was only a little over $100. That's just criminal for 29 carts. -S
  16. Very nice! Burgertime is always a big hit on my MAME cab when we have get-togethers. -S
  17. What will you be connecting your controls to? If it's a hacked keyboard you'll probably need to run two wires per switch to each switch on the keyboard that you plan to use. One wire for hot one wire for ground. If you're using a keyboard encoder (recomended) then you only need to run one wire per switch to the appropriate terminal on the encoder and the other side of the switches will all be daisy chained to the ground terminal on the encoder. I'm using an iPac from Ultimarc, and it works great. Check their website: http://www.ultimarc.com under iPac, then instructions you can find installation info. If you're just making a 2600 control there's nothing to that if you're using an old joystick cord. Just connect the appropriate colored wire for each direction (white-up, blue-down, green-left, brown-right) to that direction on the joystick switches. Connect the fire button to it's wire (orange). Daisy chain the ground wire (black) to the other side of your switches. -S
  18. Yep, looks like the switches are there. Once you get that coin door you should take it completely apart and polish it up with some brasso. That metal finish would look great all shined up. -S
  19. I'm in, but I don't have a 7800 yet. I made a deal to buy one but I don't expect it until next week. -S
  20. I'm not familiar with Famous Brand Electronics. Can you enlighten me? -S
  21. Wow! My :59 got whomped over the weekend! Congrats! -S
  22. I have a couple //e, a //c, and Several GSs. Bit of an Apple nut myself. None of mine are mint in box though. He may get that out of it, but not out of me. -S
  23. Clearly ROM CDs which are against ebay policy (at least in theory). They're listed a "PC platform" but listed in the sega master system > games catagory, which is very misleading.. -S
