Whoa, back up! When is this coming out? I was totally nuts for the original NES Megaman games. I never liked the later X series. If I can get all of those early games on a PS2 disk I'd be in heaven!!! -S

Those are really cool! You should look into having them framed. -S

I think we all would like to see pictures of these if you have a digital camera. -S

It's almost a shame that they're sealed. I'd be tempted to play them anyway if it were me. I'm not good with self control when it comes to "sealed in package" items. -S

I'll try to take pics, but my camera is pretty low-res, it may not be up to the job. If the wire does turn out to be as difficult to work with as bjk said I have some ideas for working around this. We'll have to wait until I get the cables in my hands and have a chance to play around with one. -S -

Well I ended up winning the Genesis extension cord auction. I'll be happy to report how well they work out. -S -
Adventure, Pitfall!, Pitfall II, Superman. If I had a VCS and only those four games I'd be happy. -S

I've never heard of these. Are they music or something else? -S

Jeepnut it might have seemed awful cheap to him too since I haven't heard back from him since I made the $20 offer. -S

Well it's not the games I'm after. I probably have most of them in cart form anyway. I just think the pirate system with built in games is kind of neat. I have no interest at all in a regular junior, those things are only good as parts as far as I'm concerned. -S

Clearly I'm not as big a Knight Rider fan as I thought I was! -S

That's the way I do it too. If there's a faster way I haven't found it. You can snag him low by his feet and avoid the Kryptonite if you're quick & careful Yes, but it's more trouble than it's worth, since you have to put her down before you can pick up anything else. It's easier to just avoid the Kryptonite. If you have to search for more than a couple seconds your chance of getting a really low time are pretty much shot. However it you're just playing for the sake of playing and not worrying about the time, I find it helpful to fly diagonally across the screen. You really have to know the city by sight though, so you know where you are when you find something. By the way that map available here makes no sense to me and I do know the city by sight. -S

Unless K.A.R.R. means something that I'm unaware of, shouldn't your sig line say "My other car is K.I.T.T.?" By the way, i love your av too. -S

It was an event of orgasmic proportions when....

The first time I played Adventure was when we were visiting relatives out of state. The game was brand new at the time. I couldn't belive how amazingly cool it was. I pestered my parents relentlessly until I got my own copy (sorry mom & dad). To this day it remains my very favorite VCS game and one of my favorite games of all time on any system. I've long suspected that sometimes the yellow key would start out inside the yellow castle. -S -
Well I went ahead and offered him $20. We'll see what he says. -S

I think it would probably be a lot easier to read if you were wearing 3-D glasses. -S

You're such a tease. -S

Please don't move it into the contests forum. I never even look in there. It's much better off where it is. -S

So does anyone know what a reasonable offer on this system would be? Also, how about those Slik Stik controllers? Are they worth getting and what should I offer on those? --S
-
Don't know about consoles, but you can play the original and it's sequel in MAME. -S

Now you're getting the idea! -S

It doesn't really need to be a sticky. It pops back to the top every 10 minutes or so. -S

The plasitc is actually what I was talking about. When I took my junior apart, I was taking a look inside the top of the case and I accidently broke it in two. No big deal since the board was going into another project anyway. Out of curiosity I picked up the larger of the two pieces and gave it a slight twist. It shattered into about five or six pieces. I couldn't belive how brittle the plastic was. But now I'm hijacking my own thread! What should I offer this guy? -S

I have to agree with others here. E.T., while pretty bad is far, far from the worst VCS game. -S

Honestly how could the materials it's made of be any cheaper than the materials a real Jr is made of? A real one is junky enough. If it were a real Jr. I'd just pass on it, but this one is unusual enough to make me think it might be a nifty addition to my collection. I just don't know what to offer him. -S
