I have both, but rarely play either. They're both way too big to fit in your pocket and eat batteries like there's no tomorrow. Nice to have in your collection, but neither are terribly practical as handhelds.

The Flashback won't effect the value of collections any more than the new retro styed Mustang will effect the value of true vintage Mustangs.

man...just get a USB cable. Your computer will automatically detect the N-gage(with a mem card inserted) as a mass storage device. Then you will have a another Drive present when you open "My Computer". Simply Pimply.
What SteveW said. If there were a USB port I wouldn't be futzing around with bluetooth.

I was going to buy one, but their order page doesn't seem to work for me.

LOL Sorry man. LOL I was in Nebraska checking out a few games and a few arcades. One of the guys that I've dealt with before (got the SI cocktail from him) said he was looking for a few games. I told him what I had and he bit very fast. Good price... more than made enough profit to be happy with it. Coolest thing: I didn't have to pack it or anything. He came... he wrapped, and he left with them.
I do miss the DK cocktail and may have another chance at getting one. Perhaps I can get you to build my darned MAME machine LOL Even trade or something.
I'm still ready to go on the MAME machine, whenever you are. Sent you a PM.

Normally I'm in my office and if I have any down time, I do what I'm doing now, check out the forums. Occasionally though, there will be no one at the front desk (the receptionist misses work A LOT) so I'll have to go up there and cover it for an hour or so. That's pretty much a sit there and do nothing job, so I'll play my N-Gage a bit while I'm out there.

I hope I don't have that problem. I guess I'd better read the manual on the bluetooth transfer stuff.
Got my memory card yesterday. Still waiting for the BT adapter.

Yeah, it's a pretty great deal, at least I haven't seen a catch if there is one. Where do you live that doesn't have T-Mobile coverage? I live way out in the Oklahoma backwoods and I can get a (weak) signal at home, A decent signal at the lake where I do a lot of fishing, and a great signal pretty much everywhere else. I work in an old brick building that used to completely block the signal from my old phone. The signal meter is almost full on my N-Gage.

So I was just shopping around for screen protectors and found this lovely example of Engrish that I thought I'd share:
A.R.M. Kit Crystal Edition Screen Protector is an ultra slim cover to any screenof PDA, computer monitor or digital camera. Its slim provides much clear view to
the screen without scarifying the protectiveness.

That's good news. The last thing I want to do is scarify my screen's protectiveness.

I'm very impressed at how well it works as a phone. I was able to make and recieve calls while I was fishing out at the lake this weekend. My old phone had no signal out there at all.
I haven't attempted to use any of the email or web features at all on mine yet.

Well whoever it belongs to owns a beautiful coffee table.

I look forward to seeing yours when you build it.

Sadly it would seem that the only person who could actually give us a straight yes or no answer seems to be either unwilling to reply or no longer at the address where I sent the letter.

Where are you located? There might be an interested local party on this board.

I feel the same. Not having to build the actual cab was well worth the $50 I paid for a dead one to convert.

I like the smaller screen too. This thing is primarily my cell phone. It needs to be small. However, compared to other phones I've owned, the screen is huge. Works fine for playing games as far as I'm concerned. The vertical orientation doesn't bother me in the slightest.

WOW! I hope I have better luck with XP. Hope you get it sorted.

Oops, I missed the part about the monitor not coming with the deal. Ignore the part in my previous post about the ArcadeVGA card. If you're using a PC monitor, pretty much any video card will do the trick.
Lot's of pics of my MAME project during the build on my site if you're interested. http://www.stingraysmadness.com

Next time I'm in the grocery store I'll take a look and see if they still sell that (nasty) stuff here. If they do I'll pick some up for you.
