  1. It's a great looking piece of hardware, but IMO, it's just too expensive. I won't buy one until it drops to $150ish. FWIW, I also think the DS is too expensive. Maybe I'm just cheap. -S
  2. They're up on the shelves with all of my other games. -S
  3. I'd like to see some pictures too. If it were mine I'm pretty sure I'd keep it. -S
  4. Why'd you have to list it while I was on vacation??? Oh well, I don't need another project anyway I guess. -S
  5. So far so good. Can't wait to see your progress on it. http://www.t-mold.com has 1/2 inch t-molding. -S
  6. Gran Turismo 3 was the game that made me choose a PS2 over the other modern consoles. Katamari Damacy is a great game, but as Al pointed out, it's a little short. So, yes it's a blast, but I don't think it's enough to sway many people into choosing one console over the others. -S
  7. I know that's good advice but for some reason that made me laugh. Me too. I think that makes us bad people. -S
  8. I agree with you, that's a really fun one. I play it pretty often. -S
  9. What the hell is a flashback? I thought this was a thread about ultra-rare solid state vacuum tubes. I've got a box of those that I'll sell you along with a digital sundial. PM me if interested. -S
  10. Me too. That's on my long list of things to do one of these days. -S
  11. Sigh, yet another ripoff ebay seller. Sorry you got taken for a ride on this Eric. -S
  12. Bruce, you and I were clearly thinking along the same lines. -S
  13. Obviously I can't speak for everyone, and I'm making a few assumptions here myself, though they seem pretty solid assumptions. If it's already got composite out (seems likely), if it's got a place to add a cart slot (unofficially confirmed), if it's got a nice small board (seems likely), then it's the perfect basis for the home made portable I've been wanting to build withoug having to destroy a working VCS - and without as much mod work to be done thrown into the bargain. Also of course, a lot of us just like to tinker with stuff for no reason than to see what we can get it to do. -S
  14. The chances are very high that it's alread been dumped. If you do have an undumped rom you should contact the MAME devs and they would probably be very happy to dump it for you. -S
  15. He was a bit player in Donkey Kong? Funny, I always considered him to be the star of that game. -S
  16. Boy I agree with that, I sure wish there were more of us in the Tulsa area. You guys need to come here and we can do a group tour of the Vintage Stock locations! -S
  17. We don't have a lottery in Oklahoma (yet), so no. Those are really cool though! -S
  18. All auto body fillers are not Bondo, Bondo is a brand name of a cheap consumer product that real body shops would never use. I can't speak for how you mix the actual "Bondo" brand, because I don't use it. Real professional auto body fillers are two part catylized fillers and are completely unlike wood fillers. If used properly they will set to a finish that's harder than the MDF or plywood that the cab is made of. Remember that this stuff is made to be used in the vibrating conditions of a moving vehicle. It weathers great, and and should last every bit as long as the rest of the cab. This is of course provided the product is used correctly and the surface is properly prepared. -S
  19. Well I do agree with you completely there, but it isn't as if the GBA SP doesn't have audio at all. It has a built in speaker that is more than adequate for what it's supposed to do. -S
  20. Almost every handheld game from the 80's. Most didn't even have volume controls -S
