Maybe he was reading this, it's been canceled.

make that warppipe.com (it is called the warp pipe project) Sorry! Looks cool but there's never anyone there. I would like to play somone at Mario Kart so maybe we could get something going on here?
-
Try warppipeproject.com. This is kind of like Xbox Connect in that it allows you to bypass normal programming and play games online. Including Mario Kart. Never tried it though, and it's just in beta.

No, here is the other version. I got it come up by clearing my history and deleting my cookies before I visited the page. I hate this version!

How come sometimes when I log onto ebay I get this screen (what I call 'classic ebay) and sometimes I get the other screen with the drop down menus (what I call crappy ebay)?
-
Okay, so I feel stupid for asking but what am I missing? I keep looking at the auction and can't find anything out of the ordinary about it other than it is a super common cartridge. What is so funny?

I may be wrong, but maybe it has to do with the size of the box. I noticed he is shipping UPS and (at leat at the UPS store) they do charge weight based on the size of the box and the weight, and I think they round it off too.

Video games related to the "Alien" movies
rogueleader replied to The 8th Passenger's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Well you would have loved what I got off EBay about a year ago. I found a working ALIEN arcade machine and paid only $150 for it. It was the only bid, I never expected to win it but I did. Saddly it is not an ALIEN cabinet anymore since it is JAMMA I keep switching it to other things. -
I prefer full screen too. I was rather PO'ed when I hastily bought a copy of the first LOTR only to discover I had bought the widescreen edition! Don't know why I just don't like those black bars at the top and bottom of my screen.
-
Yes he tested it but I may have the wrong game. I will ask him tommorrow.

My friend picked up a game at Philly Classic that wouldn't work right in his 7800. I think it was Motezuma's Revenge.

The Official "Thrift finds" Thread

(As this thread seriously veers off topic) I actually have an 'English' to 'American translation book that I picked up when I visited the UK a few years back. There are so many words that are different. And it can be rather humerous too. After all a persons name here in the U.S. (at least in the South) could be 'Fannie or Fanny' and in the UK that is an obscene word, am I right? That would be like someone here being named a**! -
Gamecube Gameboy Player question.....
rogueleader replied to lonesome_pa's topic in Modern Console Discussion
Probably not, because the Gameboy player does not have the place to plug in the gameboy link cable that is needed to connect the GBA to the GC! -
Crossbow for the 7800 was one of the few 7800 games that you could use the lightgun with.

The Official "Thrift finds" Thread

I would seem to disagree based on this link http://www.vidgame.net/NINTENDO/rob.htm However this is the only support I can find for the "two cosmetically different ROB's" Please see the attatched picture of the two different ROB's In addition I have searched the internet for info on ROB and none of the pages had anything about a shield except the link I mentioned above. I also did an image search on google: http://images.google.com/images?q=NES+ROB&...0&sa=N&filter=0 and Alta Vista: http://www.altavista.com/image/results?q=N...all&mis=all&miw and none of the pictures show a shield. Are you sure you didn't have one of the 'other' ROB's the linked page mentions? If there are two different ones I wonder how rare the second one is. Here is the pic of the two ROB's -
So are these n64 games that only look like Nintendo games AND play on your color gameboy? And they are PAL? I think that someone needs to know a little bit about what he is selling! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...8104485462&rd=1

But there were two ROB's right? (see my link above) The one with 'eyes' doesn't have a cover. -

rogueleader replied to Happy_Dude's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Shield? Huh? Guess not, whats it look like? Yeah. I've never seen a shield. I need a picture to see if I have it already. If it's removable, I don't have it. And now I'm sad. I need one. I must complete my formerly completed until I learned something new ROB. Well I did a little research and I am pretty sure this is what he is taliking about: http://www.vidgame.net/NINTENDO/rob.htm If you read down you will see that there were two ROB's one with an 'eye cover' and one with out. So our robots are complete! Mine has everything in this photo: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...bayphotohosting However, if you look at this photo, there appears to be a cover of sometype? Maybe? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...8104522205&rd=1 -

Crap! I knew something was missing! Actually, by your list, it all seems to be there. I am very happy indeed! -
Seller wrote: "This cartridge is guaranteed, or 7800 home game system." I think you need to demand a refund when it only works on two of the three listed~

Did you ever notice that arcade games you want on Ebay
rogueleader replied to Zaxxon's topic in Arcade and Pinball
Actually got a working JAMMA ALIEN cabinet for only $150 within a few hours of where I live. Ha dquite an adventure picking it up and I've never found quite such a deal again. -

Finally found something pretty cool. A near mint NES ROB with all it's parts and working for $2.80. And to think I almost bought a broken one ath Philly Classic for $10. BTW How many gyro disks are supposed to be with it? -
Like I said, I was just pointing out that their 'evidence' (as in you playing the game) Didn't prove any more than you holding the cart. If you say you got the cart in the mail that's cool, I believe you. And man you get 10-20 packages a day? I hope you give your letter carrier a nice Christmas present!
-
Oh, don't get me wrong. I'm not saying I don't belive him, I'm just pointing out that the 'evidence' (i.e. screenshots) people keep asking for dosn't amount to much since he obviously has the game.
