What does the "8/10" mean. I hope he's not saying that that is the rarity.
-
You forgot to mention the ultra rare Bug Hunt, and Flight Simulator II!!!
-
Is there completely no sound, or is there a loud annoying humming/buzzing?
-
They are very cheaply made - as a matter of fact that one I have is non-functioning!I've got three of them and after refurbishing them only one still has a problem. The second set of buttons won't fire.

Laser Invasion with the super sweet Laser Scope head mounted light guns.

Here's a pic of Povlok's controller (he sent me it awhile ago). The controller is very rare in that I believe it works with the Champ adaptor with two fully functional independent buttons. Check Mr. Retrogamer's joystick museum for some other Colecovision options (it should be in the AA links).P.S. Povlok, Doubledown, and Mr. Retro are trusted AA "Coleco" sellers.
That is the Championship Electronics Mini Champ. The red button represents one of the fire buttons and both of the yellow buttons are the same, but act as the second fire button. The red and yellow buttons do work independently with the Keypad Adapter and will allow for two seperate buttons. That is the controller that I don't have a box for.

Someone said that you can use that Time Machine on US SP's, but would still only play Famicom games unless the 72 pin - to - 60 pin converter was used, and with that it place it's so unstable that any sudden movements would force the cartridge to loose connection.

I have a original Champ Keyboard adapter AND the Joystick that was packaged with it as well as the packaging cardboard print! rare rare rare!;_ ) I was going to post it soon, If you want it I will take $50, the stick is soooooo rareWhich stick, the Super Champ JC-250? I've got 3 completely packaged versions of the Super Champ, each with a different box. Only the latest one specifies that it is for use with the ColecoVision. They must not have developed the Keypad Adapter yet when they released the earlier ones for the Atari and other such consoles. The only problem with the Super Champ JC-250 is that is has 2 buttons, but they won't work independantly from each other. You need to get one of their Mini Champ joysticks to be able to have two seperate fire buttons for use with games that require them. I have one of those too, but unfortunately no box for it though.

I've seen these controllers before, but haven't paid them a whole helluva lot of attention. While examining this one, especially due to the in-base wind-up cord, this controller really resembles the Championship Electronics' Super Champ and Mini Champ. Anybody know if they were made by Chamipionship Electronics?

There is not supposed to be a US version, only the Japanese version, just like GameTech is doing with the newly designed Famicom consoles.

Well I just won this little beauty on EBay this afternoon:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...me=STRK:MEWN:IT
, but I don't think I want to sell it just yet. I'm sorry, I just realized that you were who I outbid for that. I almost lost it too. I was at work and lost track of time and then got to it with about a minute left. I do have 3 Championship Electronics' Champ Adapters. One is loose and 2 are complete with box and packaging. Let me know what you're looking to get one for.

The cartridge case looks like a Coleco case, definately not a Parker Bros. case. The label looks like a copied reprint thus the shiney black parts next to the silver which would normally have a smaller inlay for the Parker Bros. label that should taper to a smaller width near the cartridge's open end. Looks like the case insert was copied with a B/W copeier and printed on orange paper.

That auction states that the 72 pin adapter is included so that you can play NES games as well as Famicom games with this adapter, but from all the information that I have seen on these so far indicates that they will only work with a Japanese GameBoy SP.

got any pics of the label

Here's a link to my site that lists and shows pics of most of the controllers available for the ColecoVision:
http://www.geocities.com/double_down_on_11...lecoVision.html
I do own all of those, plus a couple of others that I haven't listed yet. My personal favorites are the Super-Action controllers for games that require the extra buttons, or the SpectraVideo Quickshot III and the Suncom JoySensor. The Wico for the ColecoVision is OK, but if you have a game that requires 2 buttons it sucks. The side buttons are horrible, and the overlay compatability isn't that great. I will tell you that with proper cleaning the standard controller work just fine and will last a long while. The only real problem is the uncomfortability of holding them for an extended period of time.

Now I know the seller is new to Ebay and has a "0" feedback, but doesn't he at least understand punctuation or the possibility of using the "enter" key to create seperate lines for each of the games. Not to mention what a wonderful picture that they have submitted.

My Atari 2600 4-Switch Woody was either our 2nd or 3rd unit, wore out the first one or two. My Genesis 2, Saturn, Dreamcast, and all the current systems XBox, PS2, and GameCube were all originally purchased by or for me.

I know you know quite a bit about the Colecovision. I was wondering what you think about the Gim 4 button fire command controllers? I have one coming my way soon and love the 2 button controller I picked up for the 2600.I'm familar with the Gim controller. I don't have one, nor have I used one, they don't look all that spectacular to me. I was bidding on one once on Ebay, but it went higher than I thought it was worth. I'll get one some day, I'm sure, but visually it doesn't really impress me.
-
I don't think that the CD will even work with the Model 3 due to the lack of the expansion port. That's correct a stock, un-modded Genesis Model 3 and neither version of the Sega CD are compatible, for now.
-
I'm sure it's possible, but why. The 5200 controller is trash. Not to say that the ColecoVision controllers are all that spectacular, but at least the stick is self centering. Plus with the 5200 controller you'd lose overlay compatibility. Besides, there are a ton of used ColecoVision controllers available, not to mention some of the better 3rd party controllers. If nothing else pick up one of the Super Action controllers, they're pretty nice. Here's a link to my website that has a list of most of the available 3rd party controllers. Note: those aren't prices to buy, but refurbishing prices.

My personal favorites are the Suncom Joy Sensor, and the SpectraVideo Quickshot III. If you're interested I've got 8 or 9 of the SpeectraVideo controllers in stock that I'm selling for $30.00 completely refurbished and 100% guaranteed working.

What do you store your NES games in?

All my Nes games are in their respective dust covers and inside of zip-top bags. I have all of my cartridge games in zip-top bags appropriately sized. I think I only 3 or 4 different sizes to cover all of my games.
