  1. I'm looking to buy between a couple, to a half-dozen or so, of the Sega Genesis Model 3's. I don't need any games, boxes, or manuals, but I would like the power supply. PM me with any that you may be looking to get rid of and what kind of price you'd like to get for them. Thanks.

  4. I've already done this for the several hunderd ColecoVision and Atari carts that I own. A few of my problemed Nintendo, Sega, and other carts have been cleaned as well. It's not that bad. Most of the old carts don't have accessible screws so they take a little less time. I can whip through about 45-50 carts an hour. At $1.00 a piece that's about $45-$50 an hour. Not too bad. Carts with accessible screws, Nintendo, Sega, and the likes, do take a little longer, but it's nice to have games that work the first time every time.

  5. Thats an awful lot for a dollar.  Is it worth it?

Are you saying that $1.00 is a lot and is it worth $1.00, or that the service is a lot for only $1.00 and is it worth it for me?

If you're saying that $1.00 is a lot, for 50 or more cartridge maybe it could be pricey, but if it can make a rare cart work instead of not work that would be worth it wouldn't it. I got "X-Man" for the Atari 2600 in a lot mixed with some other stuff for a total of $85.00. The game didn't work at first. I cleaned it the way I clean all my cartridges and now it's a working $250.00-$300.00 cartridge.

If you're saying that it's not worth it to me, maybe you're right, but as an electrical techicnian/mechanic it's something that I like to do. I would rather fix something broken for twice what it would cost for a new one just to see if I could fix it.

  6. I'm not a huge fan of football games, but I have hated the Madden football games, and Madden himself for that matter, for years. This is such a sack of shit. EA is paying the NFL players association $250 per year for each year of the contract. I saw a clip of this news story tonight and they said that in the past, the current Madden game out-sold it's competition like 5 or 6 to 1. Now this year with ESPN's game being only $19.95, the ratio is something like 1 1/2 to 1. EA was appaprently getting scared. They also noted that the Madden franchise has sold over 42 million games thus far. Just one more reason to hate John Madden!

  7. VVG and OG are proud to announce the final results for the third round of RPS Tournament of Champions.

Ted Chung (RSPPS) x Ben Langbert (RSRPP) = 2-0 (Ted won)

Chris Nobert (PPSRS) x Greg Griffin (SRRPS) = 1-3 (Greg won)

Michael Markowski (SPRSR) x Chris Wingate (SRPPS) = 3-1 (Michael won)

Brad Jewell (SSPPR) x Rossignol Numa (PPPPS) = 3-0 (Brad won)

Steve Wicoff (N/S) x Chris Perjak (RPPRS) = 0-5 (Chris won)

Scott Einsig (SRRSS) x William Pilgrim (RRRRS) = 0-2 (William won)

    Congratulations all winners!

  8. Well underneath the 2 "storage slots" is the main wiring harness into the unit where it connects to the PCB. If they made it an 8 game switcher it would have to be wider to accomodate for the wiring and extra slots thus leaving you 2 more empty slots. I suppose they thought that it was better used for game storage than just a flat panel that didn't provide any purpose.

  9. What can I say, I was bored, so I whipped this little beauty up. It's a Video Game Brain for use with Atari 2600 and compatible video game systems. It allows you to switch between 6 different games without having to remove and insert games into the game console's cartridge slot, thus allowing for longer system life due to less wear and tear. I replaced the originally dimly lit red power LED with a "Hyper Blue" one and installed (6) "Atari Orange" LED's to corespond with each one of the unit's cartridge slots. Thus allowing you to know which game is selected. There is more detailed information listed in the auction itself.
