It's real easy. Composite audio/video is already wired to the din connector on the back. The original cord comes out of the console into an external RF modulator and then into your TV. Here is a pinout of the A/V output port:
http://www.gamesx.com/avpinouts/genesisav.htm
When you're done it should look somthing like this:
http://img102.exs.cx/img102/4291/19_1.jpg
And while you're at it you might as well de-solder the original red LED and install a "Sonic Blue" one, like this:

same one I use to use. it doesn't come with a power supply, but you can get one at radio shack.

I sold my Turbo Duo a while back and I forgot that I had these games sitting on my shelf that I can't play any more. I got them listed on Ebay with no reserves. Most of them are complete, but a few are missing manuals. Here's a link to them all:

Most inportantly the INTV II has unplugable joysticks. Allowing you to use the Wico Command Control or the Amiga Power-Stick joysticks made for the Intellivision.
As far as the Coleco-published games compatability there is an easy mod to remedy that problem. A couple of wires and a switch allows it to boot-up around the lock-out.

The description is O.K. Although putting a space between Coleco and Vision will draw less traffic.
The starting bid is a little bit high.
I would like to see more pictures, and a little better quality for that kind of starting bid.
I would prefer a slightly higher feedback rating for the seller.
I usually like to see the seller have been an Ebay member just a little longer.
I sometimes like to know an estimated shipping cost.
The "Sellers Payment Instructions" are very clear and concise.
Luckily he takes PayPal with all credit card forms of payment.
Take a look, and please don't outbid me.

I'd need a Channel F to try it on. It's one of the few consoles that I don't have.

I don't know if I'd say King. Perhaps "El Presidente". Yeah, that's got a nice ring. Seriously, thanks for the "props."

Look at the controllers on the front of the box. Now look at the controllers on the back of the box. Now look at the actual controllers in the auction lot. They look a lot more like the ones on the back of the box. Crazy Argentinians.
-
The Sears Video Arcade II is the best looking "Atari" (compatible) of all times. I'd get that one.
-
That was only for research!!! It really is amazing what sellers consider rare though isn't it.
-
In fact I got a set of these they are pretty good... since they were unused t hey were also not worn out. Those are the SEGA 6-Button Turbo Pad. There is an almost exact model that doesn't have the turbo and slo-motion feature. I like those a little better. Less clutter on the controller itself, and who the hell uses slow-motion mode anyways.
-
Nice job, thats really cool...
Btw, whats the difference between "Hyper Blue" and "Sonic Blue" ??

No difference. The LED is technically called Hyper Blue due to it's water-clear lens and its output frequency. I call it "Sonic Blue" to give it more symbolism for the SEGA console.
At times there are a lot of guys who will pay big bucks for Intellivision items. You might want to try to do some of your mods on some original Intellivision systems. My guess is that you might make more than your Colecovision mods.I briefly tried the A/V mod for the INTV II, but couldn't get it to work. When I get some extra time I'll get back to it.

I'm at it again. More modded video game consoles just in time for Christmas. This one is my pride and joy so far I think. Cramming all those components and wiring inside that tiny case was definately a challenge. Please let me know what you think.

I know we all know that people who don't know shit about video games, but love garage sales and love Ebay over use the hell out of the word "RARE." I just happen to be going through the Ebay - Video Game - listings with a search for "ColecoVision" and was absolutely dumbfounded by the number of auctions with the word "RARE" in the title. So in further research I found these results:
Auctions in the Ebay category - "Video Games" - 228766
of those 228766, those with the following phrase in the title:
"Rare" - 8692
of those 8692, those with the following phrase in the title:
"Very Rare" - 897
"Super Rare" - 976
"Ultra Rare" - 893
"Extremely Rare" - 36
"Extreme Rare" - 20
Now while some items actually are reasonably rare, most of them are something along the lines of an Atari Vader with 3 copies of Combat, or an original NES with the hard to find Super Mario Bros. It's starting to get real damn annoying. Now I don't sell a helluva lot of rare stuff, I like to hoard it for myself, but when I do sell something of a rarity I sure as hell don't spam the hell out of the title and description with what has become my most hated word - "RARE". The only people that the word Rare is going to mean anything to are the real collectors and hobbyists and they already know what is rare.
This has been an editorial by DoubleDown.
Please rant along with me.

Magnavox ODYSSEY II
Up for auction is a completely refurbished and modified Magnavox ODYSSEY II computer game console. Included in the auction are the ODYSSEY II console, 2 standard controllers, 11 game cartridges, a power supply, and a 6 ft. gold-plated, color-coded A/V cable. Everything is 100% guaranteed working, including console, controllers, games, and modifications.
The games that are included in the auction are as follows:
(1) Alpine Skiing! – Complete with box and manual
(1) Baseball! – Complete with box and manual
(1) Bowling! / Basketball! – Complete with box and manual
(1) Casino Slot Machine! – Complete with box and manual
(1) Computer Golf! – With box, no manual
(1) K.C. Munchkin! – Complete with box and manual
(1) Las Vegas Blackjack! – With box, no manual

(1) UFO! – Complete with box and manual
(1) Volleyball! – Complete with box and manual
Also included is a 26 page game catalog.
Modifications:
1: Gold-Plated, Color-Coded, RCA Audio/Video Output Jacks
This modification allows you to directly connect the game system to modern televisions or home theater systems. No longer are you required to use a TV/game switch, or forced to deal with blinking white sprites or audio “humming” while playing the game. This allows for the clearest picture and sounds ever available with an ODYSSEY II.
2: LED Power Indicator Light
This hyper blue LED has been installed on the face of the console above the power switch to indicate that the game console is turned on.
All of the modifications and refurbishing work was professionally done and installed by me. I also cleaned the entire console and controller casings, as well as burnished, de-oxidized, and conditioned the cartridge slot contacts.

The Roller Controller never fetches a ton of cash. Just hope it has the plug adapter that it is supposed to come with.

HELP NEEDED : Genesis Model 2 AV MOD

I'd have to take one apart to show you. I don't have internal pics of any of the work I've done. The easiest way to do it is this. If you have a SEGA A/V cable plug it into the port. Flip over the board and with a multimeter check for continunaty against each RCA Plug's tip to each of the 9 solder pads. So for example hook one lead to the center tip of the video wire (yellow) and touch the other lead to each of the 9 solder joints untill you find which one it matches. Do the same for the audio. Then surrounding those 9 solder points there should be 4 larger solder points. Those are the solder points for the Mini-Din connector itself and they are also all grounds. Grab your ground from there. If I'm not mistaken there are some versions of the Sega Model II that doesn't have stereo sound so you would grab the audio (mono) positive wire to the center of the panel mount RCA jack and the ground to the ground ring and then just piggy back those signals over to the other audio jack. Not true stereo, but at least it will give you sound out of both speakers.
