  1. gotta be home made, can anybody translate. I took German in high school, and can read a little, but not all of it.
  2. did you try here: http://www.intvfunhouse.com
  3. GameCube is the bomb. While I collect all systems, so I had to buy one, it is nice to play any of the GameBoy games on a big tv with a regular controller versus staring at a tiny screen for hours. Plus I've never seen a brighter and more colorful game than Mario Kart - Double Dash. It's such a pretty game, and a blast to play. Even if that was the only game I wanted for it I would have bought one just for that game alone.
  4. I would be a nice addition to one of my modded ColecoVision consoles. Unforunately it kind of defeats the purpose of collecting, if you can download all the rom files onto a flash disk. It might as well be running on an emulator.
  5. I hate the Ebay power sellers that have more of a description on their bidding rules, and payment methods, and zero feedback bidders, than the damn items themselves. Really pisses me off!!!
  6. You all realize that Best Electronics has all those little parts in stock for a decent price.
  7. I've got a few of these left to sell. This auction indcludes the Modded ColecoVision console with A/V outputs, "Intro Skip" BIOS, and Nine LEDs Power Indicator. Also included in the auction are a Super Action Controller and a Quick Shot III joystick as well as a power cord, an A/V cord, and three games. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=8121047501
  8. He also forgot to describe the BIOS modification that I installed.
  9. I never did figure out why that one sold for so cheap. That was the only one that sold for under $200.00
  10. This is one of the modded ColecoVision consoles that I sold. Apparently the guy needs money. I noticed that his description is almost word for word exactly the same as mine. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...me=STRK:MEWA:IT
  11. ColecoVision Up for auction is a completely refurbished and modified Coleco ColecoVision. Included in the auction are the ColecoVision game console, 2 standard controllers, 1 Spectravideo Quickshot III joystick controller, Donkey Kong, Popeye, and Time Pilot, a power supply, and a 6 Ft. gold-plated A/V cable. Everything is 100% guaranteed working, including console, controllers, games, and modifications. Modifications: 1: Gold-Plated, Color-Coded, RCA Audio/Video Output Jacks This modification allows you to directly connect the game system to modern televisions or home theater systems. No longer are you required to use a TV/game switch, or forced to deal with blinking white sprites or audio “humming” while playing the game. This allows for the clearest picture and sounds ever available with a ColecoVision. 2: New BIOS Chip Installed The original BIOS setup forced you to sit through 10 or 12 seconds of Coleco’s opening title screen when a Coleco-published game was inserted into the cartridge slot and the unit powered up. After the time delay you could then select the number of players and the difficulty. With the new BIOS chip installed, after the console is powered up, the instant you press one of the controllers left fire buttons (yellow button for a Super Action controller), the agonizingly long title screen is skipped and you continue on to the game. 3: LED Power Indicator Lights Nine LEDs shine through the front face-plate underneath the ColecoVision logo. The lights are colored red, orange, yellow, green, blue, green, yellow, orange, and red to correspond with the logo’s colored letters that they are mounted under. All of the modifications and the refurbishing work was professionally done and installed by me. I built the A/V output circuit and installed the RCA output jacks, I programmed and installed the new BIOS EPROM, and I assembled and installed the LED light board. I also cleaned and conditioned the expansion module interface port, cartridge slot, and on/off switch contacts. The controllers were completely disassembled and all directional contacts and buttons were cleaned and conditioned. Not only will this console work completely when you receive it, but it will work for many years to come. Shipping will be $14.95 with tracking services to anywhere in the continental US via USPS. Insurance is not required, but is offered at $4.50. I do prefer payment via PayPal, but I also accept money orders, cashiers checks, and personal checks. I will ship the auction items out either the same or next business day after confirmed payment is received. International bidders are welcome, and shipping will be determined after the end of the auction. Thank you for looking at my auction, please feel free to e-mail me with any questions or concerns you may have. Good Luck bidding! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=8119737444
  12. the stamp you are referring to is "The Inverted Jenny"
  13. Well it's "Like New" and it has 3 games. Check out that feedback, it's gotta be a sweet deal. Better grab that BIN while it lasts. He's been a member of ebay for 10 whole days too. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...5908420113&rd=1
  14. Geez, the mod-bashing is a little re-damn-diculous. I don't know how many of you involved on this topic are old enough to have had one of these classic RF output consoles when they were brand new. They looked good back then when they were new, but like it was said, with all the electrical interference we have now-a-days, bypassing the RF outputs for composite or better audio and video outputs is the only choice if you want a half-way decent picture. I appreciate the collecting aspect of the hobby and I have an original non-modded system to match every modded system I have.
  15. The Odyssey2's original design had attached joysticks, the second generation had removable controllers with standard 9-pin controller ports.
  16. As a former Radio Shack employee I can tell you this. The catalogs were called R.S.U. (Radio Shack Unlimited) It's definately been a while since they've been around, gotta be at least 4-5 years or more. It was just one more way Radio Shack could make more money without having to publish all those products in their standard catalog. I do remember from working there that there was always a lot of problems with product availability. They would print those binder pages up with listings of tons of new and fabulous items that the company wasn't daring enough to carry in stores for fear of being stuck with them, but they did also catalog all of their extra obsolete merchandise that they had stored. Problem was that even when they sold off some of that stuff they never annually reprinted those binder pages with updated inventory levels. Thus, time after time the customer would end up hearing that their items were out of stock. I can't believe Len is still in charge of Tandy CO. I worked there about 9 years ago and he was in charge or at least second in charge then.
  17. The only thing I use to remove the front sticker is an X-acto knife with a #16 blade. Other than that all that is required is finger pressure applied to the sticker in the right spots when peeling it off.
