I have only put the bare bones information up atm. I will have more information up later. I will even make a video this time.
So if you are swapping an old one out you should be good to go. If you are doing this from scratch I wouldn't recommend getting these unless you know what you are doing.
Thanks for the heads up, I definitely fall into the "don't know what I'm doing" category lol so I'll wait for the next round.

5 hours ago, the_crayon_king said:All revisions work on the model 1 and 2. The biggest thing is the the OSSC should now be compatible and this should take care of sync drops on certain games. I'll have to test everything again to confirm there isn't any new issues from the change in sync logic but it looked pretty good last time I looked into it.
I will test over my generic scaler, XRGB, OSSC, retrotink 2X, CRTs, and the datapath capture card.
Mostly, I will concentrate on the CRTs and OSSC. That will leave HD retrovision, Retrotink 5X, etc up to you guys to test out.
Cool, I'll be testing it out on the Retrotink 5x.

I'll definitely buy one! One question that may have been already answered in an earlier post, but does this work on both Intellivision 1 and 2?
-
I just got a Retro Tink 5x in case you need a a hand testing, I currently have an Intellivision 2 with a crappy composite mod.
-
Just found this thread, definitely interested in buying this because my composite mod for my Intellivision 2 looks terrible. I have various upscalers including generic ones I got off Amazon, OSSC, Retrotink 2x Scart, and will definitely buy the Retrotink 5x once it's out. Also have an LTO Flash if that helps for testing.

Wall Jump Ninja is an absolute favorite of ours, very simple yet highly addictive.

Nevermind got it working, ended up using this post:
Definitely easy to get tripped up on the order!

Well I gave it two tries and using that diagram and couldn't get it to work. Maybe I reversed a row or something, not sure but clearly double and triple checking didn't help lol. Guess I'll wait until the dude starts selling them again.

Thanks for that info! I tried contacting the people that made the original conversion cables and got no reply, so looks like I'll have to make my own like you did. I have a couple of db9 controller extension cables that I never use, think I'll use those for the conversion.

Hey all was wondering if anyone here knew of a way to buy only the boxes of some of the homebrew games. I've tried asking the Atari Age store but never get replies so gave up on that route, decided to try here. I have some homebrews that I bought as cart only from the store here like Spies in the Night, Wall Jump Ninja, etc, because at the time boxes were not available but I see boxes are available now. Would be cool if I could get boxes for my cart only homebrews, if anyone has managed to do this please let me know how!

This looks great lol, gonna add it to our holiday games

Cool, that worked, thanks! I don't have a super game module to test that, but legacy games seem to work fine.
-
Is it easy to update the firmware, or does the console have to be opened?

It is a shame, it's an awesome game that we play regularly on our Twitch stream. We played it last night again and we each beat our high scores, I even got the toys to cycle back to the first one. Such a great game
Here's us playing it yet again for those that are interested:-

Will snag Wizard of Wor as well once it's available as well.

I like the name Space Game, just like I liked the name Adventure for another famous Atari 2600 game. Works for me.

Yeah I saw that thread about all the new games Atari Age is showing, so I'm waiting until all those games are released and make one large order.

The one you linked to (Ebay) is not suitable for an Atari 800 (9v ac). Those are XL/XE only (5v dc).
Yup, the auction listing says so as well. But the op was asking about all the Atari 8 bit's, and those will work on most of them.
-
I'm not too worried about them because I recognize their shape, I've seen them used on electronics far more expensive than my Atari 800.
-
I've bought 2 from this ebay seller:
Cheap and seem to run just fine, bought 2 to replace my old Ingot once I read that they shouldn't be used anymore.

Yeah that box art is glorious!

Would like to see a modern version of Mr Do.

If you like shooters my suggestions would Draconian, Super Cobra Arcade or Juno First.

Screw it, bought one anyway, I'll figure it out once you get your info/video out.
