  1. Here is a video of Doom running on a pico computer. I think it’s doable to make a port:
  2. Hi, all! I just got an A8PicoCart and I found it extremely interesting. I think we could get functionalities, specially considering that you attach a minicomputer into the Atari. Who knows? Maybe DOOM. Anyone who has the knowledge would be interested in doing something like this?
  3. Hi! Have you take a look about the graphics glitches I mentioned above?
  4. I made some XEGS pcb carts some time ago that fits on XEGS and Sikor’s cases. I think I can make a small batch again.
  5. Where can I get this beta 4 release? I can’t find it.
  6. Thank you! unfortunately, there’s some glitches in the graphics. I’ll take a look into it.
  7. Hi! Have you found Commando in your files?
  8. It’s a cartridge I’m developing. It contains a 512kb flash rom and 512kb sram. The banking system is similar as the megacart, using 16kb banks. Currently I’m testing it before I’ll release a Developer’s Edition.
  9. Great! I think this game could be a great candidate to make it work on the FlashSRAM I’m designing. That way the game would work on 64k ram machines.
  10. I guess VBXE gets phi2 on antic socket, because is mounted over it. I also tried by changing the 7408 Ic with a ls and f versions, and I have the same results. I’m trying to get a phi2 fixer to see if this could help as well. p.s.: it seems that the graphics glitches come from the PMG overlay. The title and the moon could be using Player-Missile graphics.
  11. Not sure how I can do that, because I have to remove the subcart in order to put the other cartridges, so I can’t enable the Pokey emulation on these cases.
  12. Not sure if this issue belongs here or not, but here it goes: I found that the game onEscape shows some graphic glitches with NTSC VBXE installed and using rgb output. That only happens when I enable pokey stereo emulation. I tried with other cartridges (ultimate, side3 and original release) and it doesn’t show the glitches. Also tried with 0010 and 0011 beta3 firmware versions and it shows the same. I’m using a ntsc 130xe with u1mb and VBXE on $d640 address. Here is a video showing it. I change to rgb and svideo output to show the glitches. IMG_7636.mov
  13. I read the list, and afaik I’m almost sure that archon, Blue Max and Karateka can run with 32k ram.
  14. Have you tried swapping the Ic 74ls08 with a 74f08? Maybe it could improve the graphics. I already updated it. Thanks for your suggestion!
  15. Yeah, but I want the Pokey emulation to hear the stereo music.
  16. Update: the glitches disappear when I disable the Pokey emulation on Subcart. something related with the emulation?
  17. Here’s a video showing rgb output (VBXE) and svideo ntsc (GTIA). You can see the glitches on rgb. IMG_7636.mov
  18. Well, I just tried with an original cartridge and the glitches faded. The graphics behave better. it seems that I need a phi2 fixer. thanks for the advice!
  19. I’m using an ntsc with u1mb, VBXE, 74f08 with a subcart. i will try with my original Onescape cartridge as soon as I get back home.
  20. I found for Battlezone and Mario Bros, but not for Commando. Is it possible to share it? Thanks!
  21. Interesting. Have you tried this technique with Commando?
  22. I just installed a VBXE on my NTSC machine, and now I’m watching some graphic glitches on my monitor using rgb video on this game. When I switch to svideo or composite (original GTIA) it works fine. also, I don’t have any other issue with VBXE and non-VBXE software. This is the only case. does anyone know what could be the reason?
  23. Great! Now Das Omen plays right! also, Yoomp! plays correctly as well.
  24. Hi! Is it going to be a 0011 firmware version? Is there going to be an improvement on Pokey emumation? i noticed tjat the Das Omen demo there are some issues in the music.
  25. For some reason I had some trouble posting with Chrome for Windows on this forum. Since then, I’ve been using Edge just for this page. On my cell phone, I’m still using Chrome with no issues.
