I found one while dumpster diving outside Atari back in the early 90's... It's scratched as all hell and all I can make out is the letters ELE and COP... hmm, wonder what it means... haven't tested it yet.. Lately I've been using it as a garden shovel...

The compact flash is an interesting idea, from what I hear, but I would suspect that it would further distance the availability of newer games to casual Jag users. Although I suppose the only people playing their Jaguars nowadays ARE hardcore enthusiasts. If it were more versatile like a Cuttle Cart, that would be an interesting idea. But maybe it already is..

Has anybody here ordered from Direct 4? I'm having difficulty interacting with them currently. Their mailbox is constantly full and my e-mails keep bouncing. I've won a few games from them on ebay and they say on their site that they offer a shipping discount for ordering more than one item. However, they're charging me per item and it adds up to $30 US for 3 games! I know they're located in the UK, but damn... So has anybody been granted a shipping discount for ordering more than one game on ebay or is there something I'm missing?

Come on, the PSP is 16 years newer! They could have at least compared the Lynx 2.... The complaints about the size have always boggled me. Compared to other "portables" of the time it wasn't really too much larger. The game gear was roughly the same size, the Nomad too. Gameboy and Turboexpress weren't THAT much smaller. I mean, who cares? If you're on a long trip in the back of the car and have a cig adapter hooked up, I'd rather have something a little more form fitting and comfortable.

I think I speak for everybody when I say that if this game is as good as the movies, we're in for a treat!!!!

I've really only seen improved gameplay with Fight for Life. The added buttons make it slightly more "arcade like."

Good idea, but the only problem is that to get good results, I keep the voting going for 1 month before I decide whitch items that are moving futre to next voting. If I should do this with all lynx games, The big voting would take a couple of years... BTW, this voting ends in 3 days. Put all the threads up at once..

I like the concept of this thread, but how about start from the beginning. Start a new thread listing 20 games. And then another listing another 20. Take the top 5 from those and put it into another 20. Widdle it down until you have the top 5 of all time. Then have the readers vote on which one of the five they like most. Tournament style...

Anyone know what unreleased game Amy Hennig worked on?
Trip_Cannon replied to DEBRO's topic in Atari 7800
Then come to find out she has a complete copy... That'd be sooo badass.... after which, I wake up... -
Come on... how many reprints of the same game can we have? It's gotta be the most reproduced repackaged game of all time! It's time for something new! Bring on the feature length!!!!!! (and make a game out of it) From IMDB: "Don has returned to independent filmmaking with partner, Gary Goldman, establishing their new company Don Bluth Films, Inc. Based in Phoenix, Arizona they have begun preproduction work on "Dragon's Lair" the movie. Their web site www.donbluth.com will enable them to communicate directly with their audience. There are plans to expand the web site to include animation education and the sale of animation artwork. Don Bluth has been an active member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences since 1976."

I understand the non-disclosure agreement and all that. But come on, Atari has been done for 10+ years and the 7800 has been done for 20+ years... And Greg's right. It could be anything since she was "working on an Atari 7800 game." But what were the games in the making then? Electrocop? Gauntlet? Anything else? -

What's up with the answer she gave? She's given a direct question and she doesn't answer it! -
I'm glad this title made it to the Jag...

Very cool game. IMO one of the real precusors to Grand Theft Auto.

It was a good looking game. But I didn't like how it only had 4 events. Isn't there 8 events in Winter Games overall?
