  1. At my auctions. All start at 99 cents. Check it out. http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ2...sZtripQ5fcannon
  2. Have to go with Magic Carpet for the PC. It was so different than any other 3D game of its day. Wasn't expecting too much, but when I dropped the CD inside my pentium 60mhz, it blew me away.
  3. An Ikari Warriors into Victory Road hack would be pretty sweet...
  4. I don't know much about the tandy legacy, but yeah, I remember them starting to focus more on the IBM clone side of things later on. I guess for its time too, the Coco had some heavy competition from Amiga and the ST. Last Ninja on Wikipedia:
  5. Looks great... A little slower than the C64 version, but the graphics are certainly there. Too bad it never came out for the Coco 3, it was a great game for its day.

    Bionic Commando for the XE?
  9. You know, I still don't know why Abobo didn't break through the wall on the 7800 version of Double Dragon...
  10. Seems pretty normal to me.... Stuff sells more with a face on it...

Is it Glaxian 3? Perhaps Youtube can help your cause? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TU3CHsSosG8...ted&search=
  12. Some casual C64 browsing brought some contenders up... http://www.lemon64.com/games/view_cover.php?gameID=3215 http://www.lemon64.com/games/view_cover.php?gameID=277 http://www.lemon64.com/games/view_cover.php?gameID=9
  13. Wow, the false advertising alone makes it one of the wost..
  14. I didn't agree with the Ninja Golf being the worst. The Ninja Golf has to be one of my FAVORITE covers of all time. Come on, the ninja looks so happy! The Sega Wonder Boy cover was priceless. It's so bland, so mediocre, so insignificant, so uninspired that it teeters on the edge of a post modern masterpiece!
  15. The Pac-Man for Atari Computer was pretty bad...
  16. It's like, what the hell? Why even call it Mat Mania Challange? Why pay the licence fee if you're going to release some abomination like that? May as well call it "Two Twins Wrestling" and save some money. You know, it's been forever since I've played Title Match, but isn't there a "Royal Rumble" option in it?
  17. Sam Tramiel? Is that you? LOL -- no, he makes a good point. There's a lot of "armchair CEO's" on these forums. I know, guilty some of the time in my own views. But I have to say, with Atari, it happens WAY more than it should. What I mean by that is, for the most part Atari has or had a superior piece of hardware (when compared to machines around the same time) that somehow fails in the larger market. The perfect example is the Lynx -- it was LIGHTYEARS ahead of anything else out there at the time. Way back when Atari DID have some money to do some advertising and promotion it let their bright shining star fade away. I don't think anybody disputes Atari's hardware. It's the lack of everything else that makes Atari a bad name in the gaming business.
  18. Or if you were physically close to the system, you could use the difficulty switches, as in the case with F-18 Hornet.... which, yes, was a pain in the ass, but it was there to make the game work...
  19. I remember the first year Atari launched the Jaguar. EGM gave the Jag fairly high rankings (7s I believe) for their year end review praising its power but were waiting for the games to show. The next year it they gave it 4s and 3s for lack of any killer apps. It was never the systems fault. It was Atari management.
  20. Not the worst system. The worst marketed and supported system. Same thing with the 7800. However, I think I read where the 7800 sold close to a million systems? Bah, it still pisses me off how Atari squandered their last chance for greatness.
  21. There's a lot of subtle differences between the two. Updated special effects, a few longer scenes. It's like a Star Wars Special Edition but not so "George Lucas in your face I'm gonna spit on your childhood." There's a documentary on the retail DVD release that explains all the differences.
