  1. Even though this is the end of the subject (we think), we hope you'll still stick around on Atariage for some more heated arguements in the future!
  2. I can't seem to get it to work with the emulator I'm using (EMU7800)... Is there any sort of trick to get this thing up and running?
  3. Where can a person find a "fixed" rom?
  4. I am going to do you a favor and propose that I send the stick back to you, and you refund my money. That should make everything perfect! And of course, to be fair, you will refund the price I paid plus shipping that I paid, and of course I will pay to ship the item back to you. There! The perfect solution. How does that sound? Of course, I can't mail out the stick yet, because it has not arrived yet. But when it gets here, I won't even crack open the package, I'll just mail it back to povlok. So how about it povlok? Do you agree to undo the sale? After you get it are you going to wait 11 days and then send it priority?
  5. The 7800 also has IMHO one of the best versions of Commando ever created.
  6. I haven't a clue.. I didn't find out until I started surfing the web in 1995ish.. You'd think Atari would have some sort of beta-testers right?
  7. Maybe not... I never even bothered looking into it after I saw the price on Atari7800.com...
  8. But I would get superior picture and sound when I watched the latest movies! But seriously, I hear you.. It wouldn't have had any problems with a port of Dragons Lair would it?
  9. They did for some outrageous price. I remember it being like $75 or something... Yeah, that was a while back. They've stopped selling everything since then...
  10. eBay is a legitamate business but a lot of the sellers are not. Most just sell for hobby and I assume that's what Povlok1 does. I think DD had a right to ask the question based on the fact that DD is a consumer and Povlok1 is the "business." I know I've had many instances like that where I question the seller and get an excuse back, but just like Sly mentioned whether it's true or not I'll never know. I've had a lot of shipping issues. I remember one instance where I bought an item that the seller tagged a $10 overnight mail charge to it and I got it a couple of days later with a .32 cent stamp! The latest thing that happened to me was I bought a Spiderman cart and I kept waiting and waiting and e-mailed the guy back (twice) and didn't get a response. I posted a negative to his account and he wrote me back instantly saying that the server was down. I'm thinking, "it was down for a month?" Anyway, the item still hasn't shown... SO! The moral of the story is that eBay ISN'T JC Penny, Sears, or whatever. It's mostly regular people who like to unload their junk. You take a risk every time you bid with who you're dealing with, what you're getting or if you even get it.
  11. I remember one for the Pioneer Laserdisc system that was pretty fun at the time... It was basically a point and shoot game very similar to Rebel Assault... the background animations were great... I think it was called Pyramid Patrol or something.. But I guess Rebel Assault wasn't that bad either at the time...
  12. Yeah, the game is actually kinda easy when it actually works! The C64 version is way better than the 7800 overall. To answer your question Shaggy, the PAL version of the game is fixed. And there was an NTSC version of the game released but in very limited quantities.
  13. Oh yeah, don't forget that copy of SoulStar floating around on eBay... Also, one of the minds behind Thea Realm Fighters said that it was 95% complete... Should we be expecting that anytime soon?
  14. For $100 I got a new Lynx 2 unit and 10 new games with it... that was from goatari.com a while back... Don't know if you can find anything like that anymore..
  15. Were there any versions of Donkey Kong that featured all four levels?
  16. Nobody seems to know what's going on.. I know I don't..
  17. My #1 system has to be the Atari 7800. But other than that and the Jag, I'd have to say the Lynx and Dreamcast come in next.
  18. The guy is pretty cool. He'll let you walk in whenever they're open and play whatever you want. Mainly I saw a lot of pinballs. He has a lot of great finds too. The last time I was in he had a Pac Man Pinball machine and a Indiana Jones Pinball. Pretty cool stuff!
  19. Ummm, no offense to Apolloboy, but this club was a lot better when Cousin Vinnie was in charge.. I would like to propose that Cousin Vinnie take over permanently.
  20. 54550 No pics yet! Still trying to do better!
