  1. That's funny.. isn't Miracle Warriors an older SMS title?
  2. Wow! That's a lot of stuff man! Is that Total Carnage cart for real?
  3. Does anybody else have the soft-core porn proto "American Hero?" Was this a Jaguar exclusive release? There seemed to be a lot of footage on the disc I got. It's buggy as it gets though. I'd be suprised if they just threw away everything that was shot just because the game wasn't made. Was this the only game planned of its type?
  4. Sweet job on the psuedo-hologram Jaguar!
  5. They're both pretty bad.. Yeah, they could have been a lot better than what they were... For example, when I first saw the ads for Tank Command, I thought it would be more like SNK's classic game "TNK III," damn that was an awesome game!! Sadly I was wrong...
  6. Both games are based upon the APX game' date=' DANDY. Dark Chambers, IIRC, is closer to DANDY than GAUNTLET. According to 7800 lore, there's also a completed version of GAUNTLET itself for the 7800.[/quote'] I've often wondered why Atari didn't just release Dark Chambers AS Gauntlet... Or release Gauntlet itself... It would have done wonders to hype the system...
  7. I thought Dark Chambers inspired Gauntlet?
  8. I think it's worth having... But the other guys are right... There isn't much fun factor after awhile because it's all the same thing over and over again... You can complete the game in a couple of hours time..
  9. A form of Towers 2 came to the GBC: http://www.telegames.com/t2_gbc.htm & http://www.telegames.com/towers_gbc.htm
  10. I've ordered from O'shea's a couple of times and they've always been top notch..
  11. Damn! Jedi Jeff you rawk!! I vote for Alien Brigade!
  12. It looks great but the framerate goes down once the detail goes up. Who knows if they could have kept it moving like that in a finshed state. Once again, the world will never know.
  13. "Anotha one bites the dust! Yeeow!"
  14. I read an interesting article that relates to what agradeneu was saying earlier. It dealt with the fact that the Jaguar was competing against the unknown. As soon as the Jaguar was released there was some tension in the industry as to how powerful this machine really was. Sony, Sega, and Nintendo quickly announced their Next Gen machines and therefore Atari was already in competition with wasn't even out there yet! Add that with the realization that most kids hadn't even heard of Atari.. they'd rather stick with Mario or Sonic...
  15. Awww man! I wish I would have had this message a month ago! I had come across a bunch of TRS 80 games in the box! They went for crap on eBay...
  16. 70911 was the best I could do...

    Small Find

I have two different styles of boxes for Ballblazer... unopened.. Does that still mean the red end is completely random?
  18. Hi Curt, what would any of us or me (the average layman) need to make that code work? Equipment? Emulators? Editors? etc.. Thanks!
  19. HAHAHAHA!! That Hillary Duff one is amazing!!!! subliminal.ytmnd.com
  20. I've got Spider Man! What's the easiest way you tell if it's a US release? Yeah Tempest, got the Virtua Fighter as well. It's great to see a system last as long as that one did. It really gives the developers a chance to flex all the knowledge they've gathered over time. I mean, VF was released in 1997, that means the SMS was around for, counting the Japanese SG-1000 and Mark III, almost 14-15 years? Got a side question here, sometimes when I boot up my SMS, it'll sport the Mark III logo and Japanese text. Does any body else's systems do that?
  21. Gees! And I thought I was the only one who would take a bullet for my beloved 7800! You guys rock!!
  22. Unfortunately don't own that one.. I heard it came out but have never seen a physical copy. I know Ecco the Dolphin 1 and I heard part 2 came out for the SMS. I don't know what other Genny games came out for the royal Master System...
  23. Yeah, quite a few games came out later for the Master System. All the way up to 1997! I own Sonic 2 and it's a pretty good rendition! On top of that I picked up Street Fighter 2, and !!Virtua Fighter!!
  24. I always thought the interlaced mode in Tempest 2000 was for output on monitors (rather than TVs). Cause Jaguar had that option right? I've never tried it... anybody else out there who has?
