Everybody tells me that the animated SF2 kicks ass! I should check some of that out one of these days... There's a few animated movies out there for SF2 right? Isn't there an Alpha? Which one should I look at first?
On the subject of Street Fighter 2 still, did anybody read the comic book? The first issue I read had M. Bison sending Ryu a box with Ken's head in it. Damn, that's some gruesome sh!t!!!

Apparently, I was just a bit off...according to This SIte there were 768 levels in the arcade version.Who the hell is gonna play Rampage for 768 levels?!
-
Native had no sound or music but I was willing to forgive that since it was only a demo of the first level... Now had it been RELEASED with no music..
But overall Native just played better than Trevor McFur... It played more like R-type and the classic shooters mentioned.. Trevor McFur just seemed so rushed and slapped together...

Man oh man I LOVE R-type..
It's what made me dig side scrollers to begin with.. Games like that, Gradius, Thunderforce, Darius, etc... And when I saw the screenshots for Trevor McFur I was exstatic... The graphics looked so fantastic! I mean, there's a good 5, close to 10 years of scrollers out there... I mean, this game could only build off of what the great ones did before!! Right?!Trevor McFur did have some right things in it... Again, graphics, some good sprites, LARGE enemies... But the pacing seemed entirely off!! That and the lack of drivin music in the background totally turned me off. It just makes me ask the question again, what the hell were they thinking?!?
Native was so much better!
Star Alliance's screenshots and game layout reminded me of the SNES's Axelay!! DAMN WHAT A FANTASTIC GAME!!! I hope it's like that!!
I have total faith in Starcat. I'm sure he's way more in tune with what the gamers want nowadays than the people behind Trevor McFur.
Good luck Starcat!! Can't wait!!

161? Damn figgler, you were so close!!!

See, I read an article a while back stating that Soul Caliber was being made and it was going to be directed by Sammo Hung and star Jackie Chan. In fact, IMDB still has Sammo Hung listed as the director.. I'm thinking, now there's a movie I can look forward to! But now that I know the genius behind American Pie and Final Destination I'm having my doubts...

-
I don't know? Which version are you playing? I've played the hell out of the Atari 7800 version and no.. it never ended. I must have destroyed 3 planets in that time!
-
Is Star Alliance going to be closer to the gameplay of R-Type & Gradius?
Or closer to Trevor McFur?
-
Well... there's one..

Nobody can edit or add the scores anymore..

I wonder what movies based on video games are coming out here in the future... I know Resident Evil 2 is one of them... There could be a Tomb Raider 3... also Soul Caliber has been in the works forever... Does anybody know of any other ones?
-
I love getting everything! Box and card! Yeah, it does take up some extra space but it just feels better knowing you have everything. For my jaguar games I even keep the contest cupons!
-
But never released for any other system but PSX?
-
What happened to all his pinball/video game arcade stock?
-
Damn! Do you do this through their ISP or can you do it through something different?

Hi guys,
I'm such a newbie at the Atari ST's that I need to ask a few questions before I jump into these beasts... I picked up two STs at the local thrift store because it was such a steal!! I don't really know where to begin.. They both work... One is a 1040 STm and the other is an 1040 STfm. What are the differences between these two machines?
Also, what are some of the newer advancements with the ST line? Are they supporting USB? Video Cards? IDE hard disks?
Where is a good resource to find these answers?
Thanks a bunch!

Oh man! That was such a fantastic game!! Parts two and three are great!!

Gees... I remember an episode where Ernie Hudson showed up on one of the live action bits as a "ghosthunter" or something like that.. good stuff!! memories...

I just realized that I suck badly at this game. Couple that with the fact that I don't find it very fun and the Cousin Vinnie fans need to bet on someone else this week.I will get something up by Friday that will be halfway decent tho.
Good lord man... you're not the only one...

-
And what level of difficulty are we playing at? Expert? Or easy? Or what?
-
Cousin Vinnie, I'm just curious how the individual points lists work.. I have 6 points in one list and 5 in the other for a total of 11.. but in the overall list I have 13...
-
So what is your vote and why? I'm going to try and list them all but there may be a few I miss...
Super Mario Bros.
Mortal Kombat... or 2...
Street Fighter
Wing Commander
Final Fantasy: Spirits Within
Resident Evil
Tomb Raider
Pokemon
Double Dragon
Movies like Tron and Last Star Fighter and most of all The Wizard do not count. TV shows or cartoons do... Captain N? Mega Man?
Did I miss any?

Best video game made into a movie...

I guess in that case you could count "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?"
