  1. Zoop is a fun game but hardly stretches the limits of the Jag... Neither would Painter 2 for that matter..
  2. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think Justclaws is talking about games that didn't exist and are horribly bad.. But IF they did exist would you pick it up anyway? So a sequel to.. say... Kasumi Ninja? Kasumi Ninja 2 - The Ugly Ones. More of the same sh!tty controls except this time around the characters are even uglier and have more questionable secret moves (like Angus's Crotch Rocket). New hyperrendering methods allow such intricate detail on figures that you can now see even more blood spray out of every pore of the body! Expect the same boring endings and cheesy moves throughout!
  3. Very cool label!!! I'd guess it's a little newer than when SMB first came out.. it looks more like the art from more SMB2, SMB3 days...
  4. Glad to know I'm not the only one!! Mine usually are about Sega Master System games however... Don't know why since I consider myself more of an Atari collector... And yes, it SUCKS waking up!!!
  5. Ms. Pac Man is fine with me!
  6. How about we do what we did before and maybe have a list of three that we choose one from?
  7. Ready when everybody else is..
  8. I was just going to post this very same messeage! Don't know if I can make it!! I want to for at least one day... But it's a few hours drive away from where I am.. How comparable is it to the CGE?
  9. I searched through the older posts but couldn't find the answer to this question that I'm sure has been asked and debated before, but which game is the largest, in terms of megabits, for the 7800? I've heard before that it was Fatal Run. But then I heard again that the 7800 couldn't go above 1 meg in memory and any of the "Super" carts were clocked at 1 meg.
  10. Pretty cool man!!!! Is week one officially over? What's next if it is?
  11. I think the craze for classic gaming in general has hit its stride. The genre has officially sunk into current pop culture and I think the people that were in it for the fad or an opportunity to make a quick buck are no more. The people who truly love the games are here to stay. Gone are the days where we'll see Combat on eBay for $100. Anymore we'll probably see and pay what games are really worth.
  12. Bill & Ted's man!!! What an awesome take on the movie!!
  13. From what I understand, I know the Jaguar had a bunch of different chips inside the unit that it used for the games. And from what I've read and heard, most companies chose to program on the Motorola 68000 chip because it was the most common, therefore not utilizing the Jaguar to its full potential. (is this correct?) Anyway, I was wondering what games actually used the Jaguar's full set of chips? And what the Jaguar could have been capable of if the developers did use the Jag to the maximum use (3DO, Saturn, PS, etc.)... I know this could be a dumb question as the answer may be all of the games used all the chips yet I'm just curious... thanks...
  14. My scores! Ninja Golf (Damn you Cousin Vinnie! ) 140,930 Mario Bros. 195,620 I suck too bad at Tower Toppler to post a pic.. 6000
  15. Yeah! I guess there was something about copyrights that made the site take down part I. Here's an updated link to Part I; and I'll edit the top link too! http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/107784

  17. I must have misread this forum.. I thought it said "Addicted to Pot."
  18. Could have been... I can't remember... I do remember Spud Webb in a commercial for One on One.. I was pretty sure it was for the 7800... I don't know why I thought of this all the sudden.. memories man, memories!
  19. Hey guys, I had a funny recolection just now (at least I get a giggle or two from). I'm wondering if anybody remembers the Atari 7800 as as sports powerhouse advertisements. I believe that there was Spud Webb for basketball, Ozzie Smith for Baseball, and Doug Williams for football. I remember thinking it was the most ironic thing in the world.. There were only 3 sports games out when these appeared! I mean, the games had nothing to do with the athletes themselves. Even in the adverts they couldn't wear their official jersey!! "Finally I can play with the big boys!" - Spud Webb on One on One Basketball.
  20. Hahahahaha!! So straight to the point and funny, yet tragic at the same time!!!
  21. Damn, this must have been back in 87ish, something like that... I remember a couple weeks before Christmas me and the fam went out looking for presents at our local supermall.. My bro and I went into the Kay Bee Toystore looking for what we wanted.. There was the NES set at $150 while the Atari 7800 was right next to it.. and it had just lowered its price!! $60?!?! Right on! Our dad will go for that in a heart beat! And he did. I wasn't really thinking about which system would be better. I already knew Atari's namesake..After all, the system we owned before this one was a 2600... we were able to make up our minds pretty quickly. We took a quick scan over the games that were available for both systems. At that time they were pretty close to the same thing. Both systems had Donkey Kong, DK jr., Mario Bros, etc... Then my bro saw Xevious and Karateka for it and that sold it.
  22. Oh? Is this like "you might be a redneck if..." or wait, you mean on the home page? Ok! Lemme think.... DID YOU KNOW!?!?!?!? -When Jack Tramiel pinches a penny, Lincoln bleeds! -Trevor McFur almost single handedly destroyed the Jaguar. -Speedster II uses all of Jaguar's 64 bit power
  23. Hahahaha!! You got that right man!!!
