  1. I'm selling mine... Size 11. They're sitting at $.99 currently. LINK!
  2. Yes I do remember Smith's! Out on Portland Road... it turned into the Public Library for awhile and then turned into what it is today... the new flea market... Wow.. how quickly things change.... That website truly rocks! Here's another good one I found: http://kptv.home.comcast.net/~kptv/
  3. Hmmm, interesting... Around Salem the ONLY place you could find a Lynx was Toys R Us.... I remember to this day it being on display, on the top shelf in the corner with Blue Lightning Demo playing... You're right, Fred Meyer only carried the GB... To my knowledge I don't think any other place had it... not even Babbages downtown... Although I can't quite remember when Babbages opened its doors... maybe in 91-92? I want to say the other place that had the Lynx was "Best" over on Lancaster, formerly Jafco... wow.. does anybody remember Jafco? Oh man, I had to google it and got a reminder how cool it was to be a kid in the 80's http://www.retrojunk.com/details_commercial/205/
  4. Space Quest was supposed to have a part seven.. but I suppose that doesn't quite fit under the label "trilogy.."
  5. Because everybody in the Atari community is looking for a Battlesphere ROM!!
  6. When people talk about stealing years of of people's hard work and pirating it out to the world, that's what stops a re-release of the game for a reasonable price from the actual publisher, and also any other new games from that developer and several others to be held up in limbo indefinitely. You or whoever tries to do that, will only be reducing (and have reduced) the amount of games coming out for the Jaguar. All BattleSphere torrents would taken down immedietely and the uploaders prosecuted. There are ways of tracing uploads and the police would not believe his BattleSphere was stolen. I don't know if that directly answers his question. His question is "What can STOP a person" from doing what he describes? As long as that person has free will the answer is nothing...
  7. Acronyms are the scourge of the corporate world. I think I have an email somewhere that has 15 acronyms in a 17 word sentence. :-) And, now, apparently the video game world too! But seriously, it would be very cool if somebody could dig up a proto of CC or EA... the best is if somebody could find E...
  8. Guess we didn't get the memo...
  9. And that has nothing to do with my point regarding it. Comparing piracy to the same thing as purse snatching or car theft is ignorant stupidty that in no way reflects the truth. Maybe if the commercial showed someone with a magicial "clone gun", that one can point at something, and make their own copy of it while leaving the original in the hands of the owner to do with as they pleased, there would be some accuracy there. Yeah, and that's why the spoof ad was funny...
  10. Perhaps we should show them this anti piracy video The IT Crowd anti piracy video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bB8VETHSwRA Wow, a bunch of totaly BS comparisons that don't even remotely reflect the reality of what kind of "theft" piracy is. I'm supposed to give a crap about this why? This coming from the person who suggested to use torrents and P2P software to download the SW episode of Family Guy?! Then went on to say that usenet was the way because torrents track you!?!
  11. I don't use gametap but I thought they had an option that let's their customers buy the games. Like you said for the most part you're "renting."
  12. Don't websites like Gametap already have services like that? It's really only a matter of time until stuff like Television, Movies, games, music, etc. are paid for with a monthly fee. Imagine paying $100 a month and being able to play Ghost's & Goblins and then when you're done with that you can move on to Halo 3. After that you can watch your favorite episode of the Office or the Dick Van Dyke show. It's almost there....
  13. Still curious as to what Atarifever asked... does anybody have the Best Electronics gun and does that work better?
  14. Hey, I'm really curious... I've been jumping in and out of playing with my Atari 8-bit.. my question is, what is the system "known for" as far as its best game.. Is there a stand out title that pushes the platform to its limits?
  15. Oh the possibilities are ENDLESS!!!!
  16. I knew something was missing...
  17. Was it Star Castle with the pinup of the playboy bunny in the background? I would expect something like that in the jaguar release..
  18. There are walkthroughs on Youtube. Type in "Nebulus" and you'll find the c64 version.. which is essentially the same game...
  19. Awesome! I always knew Luke was a black haired jedi in a blonde hairs body!
  20. Native has come a long way? Or Legion Force Jidai?
  21. Check it out! On Ebay!
