  1. Thanks, but I prefer the cartridges so I'll wait if Rev has em and can give me a price.
  2. I'd like to DKA. I believe I bought the DK Jr. one but the only option was to buy both that and I forget the name but I think its where you draw lines around to fully cover the whole room while avoiding enemies. I'm not really interested in that so if its possible, can I exchange that for the DKA? I ordered today for $219.50 Exerion looks interesting. I couldn't find the gameplay on youtube for coleco but there is one on Famicom so I imagine its a shooter with the ground moving south as you fly forward, gimmicking 3D feel which I like a lot.
  3. Thank you Hope so too. I just bought 5 games from you and I look forward to hopefully seeing penguin adventure again and that ladybug one, asking with whatever else you may have in the future.
  4. I just bought 4 opcode games. There's probably one I don't care about that I want to trade but anyway, they are DK Jr., gradius, knightmare and Goonies. I'd like the penguin adventure and Ladybug. But what else is there to buy or what else was there that was released?
  5. Hi, sup y'all? I had a great time at Retro Gaming Expo 2 weeks ago and I met great developers for many indie games. I bought a few opcode games, now I want to get to the intellivision games available. I'm interested in two; Raiders of the Lost Ark, Battlestar Galactic Space Battle, Tron Deadlier Discs and Mystic Castle. I am told to come to the forums and ask for @Rev of North Carolina about them? How much are they?
  6. Nevermind, I shipped it back so I was able to return it after all.
  7. I bought two items on the Atari store; this desktop art display which is a plexiglass block and a T-shirt L size. It is too tight and the desktop art display wasn't what I was expecting; I don't like it. I contacted the store and they don't accept returns. They have yet to get back to me on swapping size with this shirt but most likely they may not do it. So I thought maybe I can sell them here to anyone interested? Desktop art - $30 T-shirt - $20 Contact me for questions
  8. I just had my nes modded for rgb and expanded audio so I can play castlevania 3 with the famicom soundtrack. I bought a repro of the game because I want it to be in english. It comes with an awesome new looking title font. But when I put the game in, the music sounds off like its missing notes. Its not playing the music properly like you hear when you play Akumajo Densetsu. So I asked around and i'm told various things. 'The only solution to this would be to get a real akumajou densetsu and replace the japanese eeprom with a new one with the english translation on it. The game uses the VRC6 mapper chip and if a repro does not have this chip, then the sounds will be missing. The VRC6 is a custom chip that is no longer being made. The only way to get one is to modify an original famicom game that already has it.' Now the guy I bought the game from, I explained what's wrong and he said, 'theres only extra sounds for castlevania you can see a difference from a modded console and a original system, the difference is not huge, thats how it is, it woild be the same on a original Japanese game as well. You can check the board , i used a original vrc6 on it with the audio chip.it uses the original vrc6 chip and also the original konami audio chip that comes with the vrc6The cartridge is well made, its not a chinese repro .Mine does have the sound chip on it.Nothing is wrong with that cartridge.Like i told you the difference with castlevania Japanese and not Japanese is not huge. You can hear a difference but its not huge. I use a unmodded nes and i can tell a difference with castlevania 3 redone, but its not huge. The sound is a bit emplified.' Now I am playing from the US console so I told this other guy that, 'sounds like everything should be correct with both the console and the cart. The expansion audio mod adds a 47kohm resistor between two points on the expansion port - this works well with flash carts like the everdrive but real japanese carts may sound a little quieter. The only way to address this would be to add a higher value resistor on the NES like a 100kohm resistor. This would make the cart sound better but make other things like the everdrive sound quieter. So therefore in order to make this cart sound better you would make other things sound worse.' 2 years ago, I bought another repro of akumajou densetsu calledCastlevania III - Dracula's Curse - FamicomInline imageI have no way of opening this because there's no screws anywhere on it that I can just open. Maybe I just pry it open? Idk.I'm not sure but if its a famicom game like you said, then I'd just have to replace the eeprom with the redone one? Or is it possible to just move the eeprom and VRC6 mapper chip to the US original game? I'm all for the very difficult challenge of the US version, I just want the music. Can that be done? If so, can I hire you for this little task? So I'm looking to hire anyone who can look at both my console and the games. If its possible, I'd like to have the famicom music chip thingy w/e its called, moved to my US version of Castlevania 3 cart so I can enjoy the music during the brutal challenge. If not, then just make the repro work right with the music. I believe the modded nes is done correctly but maybe its missing something. Anyone reading this, can you help me? I'm willing to pay for this task.
  9. I saw. That's good to know. I hope they can release The Goonies. There's the sequel on the NES but I need the first one first.
  10. Oh that's right; Collectorvision. I forgot about them. I like their stuff. I just found that Penguin Land game I've always liked from the Master System so I'm happy about that. Now I need the Penguin Adventure from Opcode. What I would really like from PixelBoy if anyone is ever willing to sell is Children of the Night. Any horror of dracula game, I would really like to have. And btw, Opcodegames website has nothing. I've tried many times there and I only see the sgm module. I got an email of their upcoming releases and I was told to pre-order them but I have no way of doing so, even though I already subscribed a long time ago and I recently paid for a membership. So I'm still waiting on what's next. Well, I wish you luck with your cards. I wish I had been ahead of the game with your games so I can only hope someone will like to sell any on ebay or something.
  11. Is this your last task before retiring? So who will be the new people to make these games and new ones in the future? And are they the ones I email if I want to buy anything?
  12. I see posts on facebook promoting new games for the SGM Colecovision, I subscribed and even paid for membership but I have no idea where to go to buy these games. I see people post that their opcocde games came in the mail recently and I wonder if they already had their run and I missed out on it. I wasn't notified or anything on how to buy them. And their website sucks; all they have is the sgm on sale but no games. I don't know what to do. Can anyone please help me? Where do I go?
  13. I doubt anyone can pick this up again but I'd like to buy the Donkey Kong PK cartridge. Is there anyone who can do so?
  14. Seeing as it is one of the rarest atari games, I can only imagine how expensive it must be. I'm sure the Pal version is cheaper but it may not play well on your NTSC console. Would this game possibly in the future get resales in reproductions here on atari age?
  15. I wanted it to stay being called Keystone Kapers. I guess Activision didn't want that ~_~
  16. Do you have more than one? If so, can I buy one?
  17. Will Frogger II: Threedeep work on my xegs? Cuz' I read Gorf on atari 400/800 won't work on xegs.
  18. I ordered my console to be modded and they have not gotten back to me on the shipping label. Its been a month and I think I'd like to look elsewhere. Is anyone available for hire to mod my console for s-video? Any parts you need me to order? Or you can order those yourself? Please get back with me on this and how much do you charge? I also have a Hey You Pikachu N64 console with a Tim Worthington RGB mod board and a Vectrex with a Buzz Off board for in the future in case you can do that too. But for now, I just need my 5200 modded. Can someone please help?
  19. This seems like a 10 year old game. Is it the same game as the regular Space Battle? But if this is supported with the voice synthesis module, then I like the idea of listening to it talking to me. But there's no more of this game, right?
  20. Its been difficult to find any game for my xegs when I'm typing a name for the game in either those it doesn't show unless I specify but ebay has them all listed as I put in the title; 400 800 1200 xl xe whatever. I tried searching for Goonies but no luck, not even archon. Is there a game shortage for these cartridges? I found this one that is labeled Backup - blank media for Atari XL / XE, cartridge (cart for Alley Cat) Is it blank or is it alley cat? If its blank, what am I supposed to do with it? Forgive me for not being so techy. I just want a game installed in these carts so I can just play them. Where do y'all shop for 8 bit atari games? And what do y'all recommend?
  21. So long as there's a way to not cut my consoles, even hardwiring the cables into the console is fine by me.
  22. I just sent my Magnavox Odyssey 4000 to be modded for composite. I have 2 and the first one I had, I had it modded for RF to get rid of that one that needed a specific switch box and there was no way I could use that for any of my TVs. So it was a success but after seeing all the mod projects done to consoles, I had to see if it can go higher from RF. Naturally, I thought of RGB but being realistic, let's start small and go composite first. While its being worked on by Long Island Retro Gaming, I wanted to know if it can be done to other pong consoles. I just saw this video on youtube that modding composite to your pong system is possible. But are all pong systems different? Do they all need that RCA mod board for that or can it be done on any board with just the right wiring? I have Nintendo's first pong system the TV Game 6 and TV Game 15. Can composite be installed on those too?
  23. Maybe modding this console isn't that big of a deal if the RF cable is high quality. I've ordered one of those a/v cables from best buy, i'm going to test this console out and see how good it looks. First I need a game. I saw this one on ebay called cosmic raiders and it says reproduction. Is this a homebrew or was it a commercial release?
  24. What is your opinion on the channel F? I thought of having that modded too but with good composite. But perhaps like you said, depending on what tv I use, it may display clean pictures? What if I use like the thickest best quality a/v coaxial cable you get at best buy?
  25. Does that mean it should have like less interference and noise? And I'll check out the site you sent me, thanks.
