  1. Hi All!!!  I'm new here and just wanted to say Hello to everyone....  and ask a few stupid Questions  :D

I was playing Blitz! on my C64 a few days ago and i haven't found any 2600 game that plays like it.....

I don't know anything about programming but i'd say this would make a nice 2600 game and it shouldn't be too hard to.... (i guess) ?

So what do you think about it?  Would anyone like to see a 2600 conversion of Blitz! too??

  2. Hi Guys

i got my 127 in 1 USB multicart last week.It is very easy to use and so i put some games from my PC to the cart. Then i wanted to test it on my 5200.

The menue screen appears and shows the games. But when i choose a game,i see only a black screen and no game.

    What can i do? :(

    greetings Gambler

PS:The same happens with my MHS 5 in 1 multicart. The screen appears,i choose a game and nothing happens.

This may seem obvious, but do you know for sure that the 5200 console works properly with other regular carts? Is this a 4 port or a 2 port? It is also possible that your console has a bad/flakey internal component and the menu driven multicarts somehow exploit this condition. Since the same person created the menu software for both carts, perhaps classics would be better to assist you with this trouble. I know my 128-in-1 multicart works fine in all my 5200 consoles.

  4. Hi Guys

AVCS Tech Challenge is still at the end of development status.I could test it on real hardware(NTSC and PAL)and can say, that it is really great. :)

And i own also a prototype of and earlier version(Only for my collection)

So give Simon some time for finishing it.It will be released for sure.

  5. I got my copy in the mail over the weekend. I haven't had much time to play it, but if you are expecting Combat... Don't. It has some wierd physics. Tanks move like they are turbocharged relative to the original combat. They can go in reverse. There is bounced shots. No planes, jets or boats. There is a saucer-like object moving about the playfiel which you can shoot. The game was timed.

That is about I can say basd upon my minimal play. I need to read the instructions because I don't really know what I am supposed to be doing. It is appears to be a bizarre update of Combat.

Weird physics? What physics? You are giving the game too much credit. Next thing someone will criticise the A.I. which there isn't any of that either.

As far as what to do... "If it moves, shoot it". Avoid getting shot for high scores.

    Hi Harry

do not panic;your game is really good.I would be happy,if i could do such a nice game.

  6. A truly frustrating read...

How hard is it to just look at the [email protected]#king open end of the cartridge?

    976720[/snapback]

No problem to look. But can anyone post a photo of the 2600 Super Football cartridge? Then i could compare it with my board.Unfortunately my camera is not good enough to make a photo of the board

And again for all.The colors of Mr. K`s prototype seem to be better than the 2600 version.

So i can say.I am happy with my cart.

    greetings Gambler172 :)

  7. As i've already stated it looks like a 2600 game, but it looks alot better than those screenshots you have posted. Not sure if it any of the 3 copies which are identical ever had labels, its a bit strange that I picked up all 3 along with a load of other carts and its only those 3 Super football's that don't have labels.

    Yes Mr. Kizza

it really looks a little bit better from the colors. And i am happy with my cart.

    Thanks a lot.

  8. Hi Drac

but you are a little bit wrong. If playing with a Pal system, there is no 7800 screen popping up.And this game is really a Pal game.No NTSC.So,if anyone can take a photo of the 2600 Super Football board,i can check immediately.

    greetings Gambler172
