I ordered this to use for printing things that need that color, but haven’t tried it yet. I feel it will not be dark enough. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01JKF6UHC?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

I have. I'm a boss at beveling or rounding straight edges. (even though it is somewhat tedious.) But, if my shape is curved like, perhaps the bottom of a rocking chair, I do not know how to bevel that curved edge. If you've found a tutorial for that, I'd love to see it. Thank you.

Looks like maybe you bought it all! 😀 (ships in 1-2 months!!!)

RE Plating PCB Fingers, a caveman can do it

So, is this better than blowing on the connector? 😂 -
Steve, These are AWESOME! Thank you for releasing the .stl files. I know how much work you have put into these and you nailed the state of designing on the head. Tinkercad is so awesome, but has its limits. Everything else I tried is like WAY overkill. If Tinkercad would just offer a "router" tool where you can route the edges of a shape (one side at a time, rather than where certain shapes can do that for all sides together) it would really solve the biggest problem I have experienced with designing things. Would you be willing to share what filament you are using for each color? Note: If you do, I will make a donation to your site for the cost of the first roll of filament I buy so you can also buy another roll. (Alsol if you don't, then I'll just have to guess about how much you are paying for filament and donate that amount instead.) Thank you again! -Todd

I am going to slightly disagree with you. You can stream steam games to pretty much anything from your own PC locally without going outside your home network. So, there is another option, but it doesn't generate any revenue for Atgames, so... I struggle with why this is better than retropi, a xarcade tankstick and a 50" flatscreen TV?

We used to put data cassettes in the car and listen to the loading sounds at full voume with the windows down just to confuse the people that heard it... When we weren't listening to that we literally wore out our Scorpions Love at First Sting tape.

Was there ever an Atari catalog with the 1200XL?

I got an Atari as I was entering High School, then I took a typing class about a year later. The typewriters we used (I believe they were IBM, maybe Canon) had slight differences that I now recognize as the difference between US keyboards and UK keyboards. Atari and Commodore seemed to use the UK keyboard. (" on the 2 key) IBM, Apple Coleco and TI seemed to use the US keyboard. (@ on the 2 key) Any idea what drove these decisions back in the day? -Todd

Re: missing key stickers for ECXL Brother P-Touch printer to the rescue. I printed six six keys on my P-Touch printer: System Menu File Menu Cold Start Break (there are at least 2 break keys, but only one Break sticker) Freezer Paddle Mode (can anyone tell me what this is?) here is a picture This keyboard is pretty perfect for this. -

I found a keyboard that has the large return key, so the Atari arrow keys work where they are supposed to be and it has a pause key so I can use that break. (I know I can use the tilde/grave quote too) mostly, I wanted the arrow keys to work. I put the stickers on and it is great. But the stickers do not appear to have a cold reset, system menu or input menu sticker. So, that’s kind of a bummer. Ill post pictures tomorrow or later tonight. Edit: Here is the keyboard I bought: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0187T1RE8?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title -
Yep. That's what I'm going to do too.

I wish I had known that before I ordered. Can I buy your firmware after I get my board? Thank you.

My dad worked in a factory where they made brakes. He was a plumber. Back the brakes were made with asbestos. They used to throw it like snowballs. He was occasionally literally swimming in it. He he now has asbestosis. so, I’m glad hardy board doesn’t have it any more.

Oh no. Here we go. 😀

Mine was $112.67 shipped currency fees, etc...

Ordered! Can't wait.

Thank you for the clarification. It’s still unclear, however, why we cannot just use our ABBUC login. after I paid my membership fee, I was asked to give my account ID and then was told that account has all member privileges now. Doesn't the ABBUC site know which accounts belong to members?

For me, it turned out zip code was actually my state. I used the first letter of my state and it worked.

Actually. I didn’t vote. A week or so ago, I saw that the entries would be released to members. So I went to the site and under the membership menu, i selected become a member. I received an email, paid my membership fee. And then a few days later I was given my membership number told to create an account (which is what I thought I was already doing.) i went back to the site clicked the. It logged in button and from there I selected do not have an account. Then I set up my account. Sent my username back to the email and a little while later received a response that I had full access. I guess I’m not sure what the difference is between having an account and being a member...
-
I did. I know my member number. I just recently became a member. When I registered, address was optional. Seems if it is going to be used like this, perhaps it should be required? unless it is using the address I gave when I filled out the form to join. Its confusing, because there are two different places to sign up and it’s not clear what the difference is until you’ve gone through it.

I was unable to log in. I didn’t have an address so I added one and was still unable to log in. Seems odd odd that it doesn’t just use the same credentials that the main site uses.
