Hi! Loader and main part of demo were completely dissasembled and compiled again. New banking was done by simple table but main part had to be relocated from $4000-$8000 memory area as the demo used independent Antic access. I think I can try to make a version for your banking but I need more information. You said that your upgrade uses banks $x1-$xF. Is this correct? I would expect $x0-$xF as you need 16 banks in four rows to have 1024 kB of XMS. Anyway, if you use LSB for banking, which bit is used for switching OS? In other words, I need to know meaning of all bits of $D301 register in your expansion. F.

Hi all! Have you ever heard about "The 1 MB Raytracing Animation Demo"? It was written by Stefan Springer ages ago for MegaRAM III expansion (banks controlled by registers $D301 and $D600 plus independent Antic access to XMS). This week I modified it for all pure $D301 expansions (banks $Ex, $Cx, $Ax, $8x, $6x, $4x, $2x, $0x). It was tested on 1 MB expansions by Satantronic and by Pasiu (many thanks to tWh and Bob!k). Modified version can be found here. Enjoy! F.

OK. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final step in my conversion of great Deflektor game. After some brainstorming and couple of hours of work I'm proud to announce file version of Deflektor for 64 kB machines. It can be downloaded here. Enjoy! F.

H: patch must be switched off... F.

Hi! Your dump is OK. BASIC program is not corrupted and it seems to be complete. But I would say something should be loaded before this part as there is a lot of USR calls but no proper ML data in page 6. This is the reason why it crashes... F.

OK. I tested it on Painter game and here is my resume: it's just a semi-professional product, definitely it's not beter than original controller. Two main plastic parts do not fit very well in some areas and ergonomics is very problematic in my option as the bottom of the controller is almost flat. Yes, one can access A, B, C buttons a little bit easier than on original Jaguar controller (probably the only real plus of Boomerang) and a small stick can be pluged into D-pad (good idea!) but PAUSE and OPTION buttons are pretty difficult to press as they are too small and too low. The worst part of Boomerang controller is D-pad, in my opinion. Its sensibility is not very good and it must be pressed with too much power. Numpad is missing completely. It's rare but I would say it doesn't worth buying. F. Hi all! I want to sell this controller as I'm doing big HW a SW clean-up. Anybody interested? Original price was ~ $40. F.

Blue Max: only game to deliberately cause a system crash?

LDA $D20A ;RANDOM STA $0230 ;SDLSTL That's it. F. -
I agree! F.

How did you get it to work? It does nothing on my machine (WinXP) but pop open a screen with a check box and a strange label. Atadim is drag and drop utility. Just make a shortcut in the tray and use d&d to open ATR\XFD images. F.

Have you read this topic? I would guess you have 192kB of expanded memory... F.

Berzerk 5200 vs Berzerk 800 - Something for Fandal
_Fandal_ replied to Heaven/TQA's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
Try to switch off all disks. F. When playing Berzerk through SIO2PC I hear the speech, but when I fire at the enemies there is no sound. I tried the same images through Atari800Win and the sounds are there. I am using an Atari 800. Yes, you're right. Person who made file version forgot to initialise Pokey chip. Check my site for fixed version. F. Thanks. This. F. -

I think this version of Berzerk has the same behaviour as the 5200 version. Just don't use OS-B. F. -
Hi all! Did you know there is a cheat in Sea Dragon game? Press fire on joystick 3 in the title screen for 10 lives or press fire on joystick 4 for starting stage... F.

OK. Mystery has been solved. There are TWO serious bugs in Electrician game. One can't enter the last house and one can't finish the game if the last key is located in houses 7 or 8. Tested on original VAPI image downloaded from Atarimania. Fixed file version can be found here. See the attachment for fixed ATX image. May be guys from Atarimania will be insterested in my work though Atari Frog is not responding my email for last couple of weeks... electrician_fixed_atx.zip
