Would loved to have made the drone tilt as it went up and down. But the yellow biplane body doesn't have any frames to animate with. It's just a static image. The graphic that animates the biplane's propellers is not wide or stretched like the biplane body. If it was, I would have animated a spinning blade movement under the drone. Again, it was just a quick & dirty throw away hack.

This hack turns the tanks in Robot Tank to cars for a auto combat variation. The dash letters have been replaced with icons for the camera, radar, chain gun, and engine. The engine replaces the tank treads. So if the engine gets damaged, the car slows down big time. AutoBattle.BIN

Yes, I found out the text "BONUS" shares letters "O" and "N" with the text "SQUADRON". So I just replaced "SQUADRON" with "RAID" and changed the "B" to a "+". As for the section of "T" in the "TANK" text, I couldn't find it. So I made do and just turned the other half of the "T" into a "A". I was tempted to say hell with it and leave the "TANK" text, but I know somebody would have said "If you're supposed to be driving a car, why does it say tank???".

I want to do a hack of Activision's Robot Tank. I want to change the "TANK" text sprite to another word. Using Bithacker, I was able to find where the "TANK" text is in the code, but part of the "T" is missing. I've attached a image below. The red boxes show most of the word, and just a part of the "T" in the code. The blue boxes show the rest of the "T" graphic that is missing. Nothing above lines up to match the missing part segment of the "T". So with that, might anybody know where the missing "T" segment might be in the code? Thanks!

The Penguin was used because the character is a better fit for the water / dock theme of the environment. Bane, Riddler, Catwoman, and the Joker really wouldn't fit.

Here is a revision that uses the background graphics from KevinMos3's Popeye hack. But only the first 2 screens are changed since the original ROM is 8k, and not 32k like KevinMos3's hack. Batman2.BIN

Popeye has been changed to BATMAN! It's Batman versus The Penguin! And Batgirl throws out bats for Batman to catch. That was a fun sprite to animate with 8-bit booby giggle. Batman.BIN

Does anybody know where the "POPEYE" image data is located within the Atari 2600 Popeye ROM data? I use Bit Hacker, and can't find the "POPEYE" graphic scrolling through the data.
