Yep, you're wrong about uru, It's just like the others, with the option to play online, you're not forced to play online at all. I've got it, and it's good so far. My favorite so far is exile, I would recommend that you play riven before exile. since they seem to go in order.

When I load up a game into playbin and press play, playbin closes itself automatically.

No, MEKA has support for a serial port adaptor that you plug the glasses into and can play the games in 3d with.

What I do is use makewav to convert all my 2k and 4k games into wav, and then I take the ones I like and record them to cassette, that way I can create a nice insert and label for them. I have Tapes such as, the Imagic collection, the Parker Bros. collection, etc. I have attached a zip file that contains makewav 4.2, all of it's docs, and a batch file that will convert all 2k and 4k games in it's directory into wav files. Extract it to a folder and place the games you want to convert in the same folder, then run the batch. Also, some of the games may need to be doubled up because the programmers were sloppy with addressing, you'll need a hex editor to do that. I like to use hex workshop. I can't use playbin because it doesn't seem to work on XP. makewav4.2.zip

I have to agree that I like the text labels because they show the variations. I don't want to have to go only to the manuals page to find out what game variation I want to play...... I also like both the standard activision labels and the special ones (e.g. H.E.R.O. , Commando, Pitfall ][.) The activision standard labels actually show you what the game looks like, unlike most other picture labels which display stuff that the atari could never do. Granted the picture labels are pretty, they make me feel like the company was trying to convince people that graphics are everything, but great graphics do not a great game make. I think it helps to have the variations on the cart, but I hate the sears text labels, the name of the game is only on the end of the cart.

I've been looking for a pair of sms 3d glasses cuz if I like 3d, but the only way to get it through emulation w/o shutterglasses is with Dega's red/blue 3d mode.

The only atari I have is a 2600.....(sniff) Right now it has a 16K eprom cart containing Thrust+ Platinum in it. (Leaves to listen to rob hubbards rockin' tunes)

I have to defend boxing, my 5 year old brother loves it! As for my least faves, the two games that would have been better if the 2600 had more buttons: Kung fu master, and double dragon.

How do you enable 3d mode in orb 3d? I couldn't figure it out..... The other two are both by square, select enables and disables 3d mode.

Just a tip: if it helps, you should be able to clean the chips off with some rubbing(ethyl) alcohol.... It looks like they were colored over with a magic marker(sharpie).
