  1. What's with the blacking out of the chip numbers? Do you just want to show off and not allow any of us to make our own?
  2. I'd check ebay often, and you could post in the marketplace forum asking for one.
  3. It will work on a jr. Until you mod it, you can use it to play supercharger games. Once modded, you can play any 2k or 4k game in modded mode, and any of the supercharger games in supercharger mode.
  4. I thought about this too... can anyone confirm that the only differences between the two games are the graphics? That is' date=' all the scoring, speed, and so forth are the same? If so, then I suppose it's alright. --Zero[/quote'] According to atariprotos.com, the graphics were the only thing changed....
  5. Damn, I don't really want/need/can't afford the games.... The only sms stuff I want right now is a light gun so I can play sentinel and a pair of 3-d glasses so I can use MEKA's serial port adapter to play stuff in 3-d.
  6. What's going on?!?! In Ze_ro's last post in week fifteen, he said the game was skydiver.
  7. The PB version is good if you want to play a quick game,(no supercharger loading required...) the Starpath one feels, plays and looks more like the arcade version. I prefer the Starpath version, the PB version isn't as interesting to me. In the Starpath version, you get to see more of the different enemies. And, it's just prettier than the PB version.
  8. How much do you want for just the glasses, I don't need/want the games.
  9. I need help finding schematics of the Coleco Telstar Combat, and the magnavox oddyessey.
  10. By part number, but that will probably change when my collection gets too big to fit in one box.
  11. Hmm. That's interesting. In 15 years of reading info about the Lynx, I've never heard that one! Read this page.

    Need advice for PCB

Also, no the 7805 won't be damaged. I wouldn't suggest trying surface mount, there are special soldering stations that are necessary to solder them to the board, these are generally very expensive. About the joystick current, the 4016 should be fine.
  13. Well, the "C" is supposed to stand for "Custom" so I don't think it was the "plain old" 65C02. Actually, the "C" stands for CMOS. The 65C02 is the CMOS version of the 6502, it lowers the power consumption and adds a few new instructions but isn't "custom" in any way.
  14. Holy shit! Small world! I bought some stuff from you awhile ago. I had no idea you were part of atariage!
  15. That may be why they decided to make the pcb's red.
  16. Oh, yes (what was I thinking ) But I'm very sure it's a 16bits 6502, in other words a 65816 (like in the SNES) The SEGA Genesis contains a 68000 The genesis also had a Z80 in it.
  17. What game would you like to see ported to the 2600? Galaga Bubble Bobble Bomberman
  18. Doesn't Pressure Cooker use one of the difficulty switches to toggle background music on or off? As does Moon Patrol... So does pengo. Riddle of the sphinx uses both joysticks.

    Label glue

I dunno, it works for me.

    Need advice for PCB

I would find an enclosure that you like, and then size the board and connectors to fit.

    Label glue

    Try an acid-free glue stick.
  22. I may very well end up doing just that...buying a TI99 plus the required hardware add-ons to play it. I was just hoping to get a small taste of this game before doing so though. The TI has some fantastic arcade-style games. The best part about their Space Invaders and Pacman clones (ie: TI Invaders and Munchman) is the silky-smooth frame rate and scrolling. Fire up either of these two games and then try out equivalents on any other console/computer of that era and you'll see the difference! Dykesr is selling one for $20 at the marketplace if you want it.
