  1. I tried to backup my tapes with old tapes, it doesn't work very well..... Your better off buying a pack of new ones.
  2. Some of the Supercharger games are 5's and above, all of which are very good. Ones I like besides the supercharger games are, Montezuma's revenge, Shootin' gallery, Sentinel, H.E.R.O., Mr. Do!, Pooyan, King Kong, Pengo and video cube.
  3. Ummm, are you(Gamemaster_ca_2003) allowed to distribute the roms for this game?
  4. So, then does the CX22 only work in trackball mode?
  5. Oh, oops! I meant to post that only once, and it was meant to be a response to keilbaca's last post......
  6. That should be pretty easy to do with this. If you don't have a PIC programmer, I would suggest jdm. It's basically a copy of COM84......

  8. It's very posible that Atari did dump those carts, my dad used to work for the Limited. When they had extra that they couldn't sell, they would dig a hole, throw all the unsold clothes in, and set them on fire.....
  9. I don't think so, Gyruss in the arcade didn't use a knob, it used a joystick. Besides, the terrible controls are part of the challenge.....
  10. No, it doesn't work on joystick games, I think it acts like a driving controller. But of course, this all depends on the type of trackball it is. If trackballs did work on joystick games, then there would be no reason for the trackball hack of missile command....
  11. You could do it in the spirit of the 32-in-1 carts and battery backup your binary counter and connect the clock line to the +5v line on he cart slot. That way, when you turn the power on and off, it increments the game.

    Eprom burners

I wish that willem had support for the 25cxx series......
  13. Atari Age existed back then?!?!?!?! Man, the forums must have been a pain in the ass.....
  14. 24,969 Try to focus on the control rods at the side to keep the reactor from growing too big, this is especially important on the levels where the core is open. Remember, Knocking down all of them gets you another decoy and when you die, each unused decoy is worth 500 points. Hmmm..... never played the arcade version. I'll have to fire up MAME.

    2600 on a chip

Cootster! What happened? It was your turn to pick the game for the HSC but you never showed so zero raffled off your chance....
  16. getting better, 23,740! Alright, I have to admit this game isn't that bad...... It's not as bad as E.T. or the SQ games......
  17. try searching for source. Nothing comes up at all.
  18. The first score, 2,243.......Yea!!!!
  19. Cool, It sucks that the dig isn't up anymore, is there anywhere besides paul's site that has stuff from the dig?
  20. Awwwwww, crap! I hate this game..... Oh well, maybe I'll hate it less by the time this is over!

    2600 on a chip

FPGAs. It's a chip full of gates, and you download the configuration to it in an instant. Describe your hardware in VHDL and let the computers figure it all out. Need more gates? Get a bigger FPGA. Don't want to have to program it all the time? Get an EEPROM-based FPGA. Making a couple of million? Get a chip company to make an ASIC from your VHDL. That's the technology that makes the Cuttle Cart 2 possible. Thanks, I know all about that stuff. Just take a look at the TIA datasheet and tell me it wouldn't be easy to write vhdl for it. I'm not claiming to know vhdl, but according to Albert, when the code for the PLDs for the bankswitch boards at the AA store was being written, he didn't have the expensive commercial software for doing it, and he likened it to programming an eprom by hand.
  22. Does anyone have commented source code for the 2600 version of ms. pac-man?
  23. Damn!!! This makes me feel sooooo insignificant.......
