Nah, it's gotta be harder than that...... How about 120 pull-ups?
-
I think it says 253,140...

Maybe we'll be lucky and he'll sell it to a company that will release a 'mini' 2600, or something like that. You can't imagine that it would be easy to get all that stuff in a single chip. Just by looking at the datasheet for the TIA, it would be hard to fit one in a chip as it is, without the RIOT and CPU. Hope he breadboarded it first...

I want a good place to find ti99 roms as well, I might buy a ti99 off ebay for my dad, it was the first computer he ever had. They go for very little on ebay, your best bet is trying to find the original game and getting a ti99 off ebay.

They don't actually contain a 2600 on a chip. They look at games that can easily be reprogrammed to run on their hardware. So, you couldn't just rip one open and wire a cart slot on it, It wouldn't work that way.

I haven't played the 2600 version, but I did play the vector version in MAME and it didn't make sense. What's the goal?

Tip is positive. I'm positive. sorry, couldn't help myself.

The 6 and 4 switch models run fine on 500ma but I thought that the jrs. use something different.

What materials are good for blocking UV-C that won't degrade over time? I know that to test my enclosure I can just put a regular light bulb in it, turn off the lights and see if I can see anything coming through.

What are the specs of the supply you're using?

What game did you hate soo much, it ended up in the TRASH!
Tsukasa replied to Kenwood's topic in Atari 2600
Before anyone does anything drastic, instead of throwing games away, give them to me! (I just started collecting a couple of months ago and will take almost anything!) -
Which carts do this? I would like to see this for my self. I could burn them to eproms or fire them up on my supercharger.
-
VERRRRRRRRY VERY early 2600 models didn't have channel selectors, but they had a hole in the case for one.

How could you?!?!?!?!?!?!? Pitfall 2 is AWESOME!!! Me? I wasn't around then so I never threw anything away. Now, I rip apart games I don't like and turn them into games that I do like with my trusty eprom programmer. -
Phaser Patrol uses them, as well as Star Raiders. My opinion is if I can't play it without the manual, then it's complex. My list of complex games includes: ROTLA SQ Star Raiders Space Shuttle Shuttle Orbiter ET Solaris BTW I never did understand Beamrider.

Also known to have a high failure rate.

I don't know of any cheap ones, but batronix sells an expensive ($200) usb programmer. Don't know, saw one on ebay awhile ago, I think that it plugged into the cart slot. I have heard of the promenade though. BTW where's a good place to get super-cheap uv bulbs for erasing eproms? I am probably going to build my own eprom eraser since I'm not into paying for one.

Well, I managed to scrape up the money to buy a willem off of ebay. @tearex Was the one for the c64 a "promqueen"? cuz those are the only c64 ones I know of, but I don't have a c64 unfortunately so it doesn't really matter.

Try posting in the maketplace forum as well.

6 weeks ago! Damn, the weeks fly by fast.

I don't have the money to buy an expensive programmer but I have the parts to build this.

Paul, I'm a big fan of treewave, but I didn't know that you were part of it until a few days ago.
-
I like SCSIcide. BTW, is there a version of the synthcart that is 6k/supercharger compatible?
-
And gotten it to work? I'm considering building the epromr 2 but I want to know if anyone has gotten it work before I build it cuz I have limited supplies.
