That sounds like the 32-in-1 cart that was the pack-in in europe.
-
It's not perfect, but I play games using it without problems. (think 2600 rf quality when using a direct connector ie. not the switchbox)
-
Hmmm, I thought scart was a europe only thing..... I've never seen a scart connector in person.

What 2600game do you grab when you haven't Atari'd in awhile
Tsukasa replied to Kenwood's topic in Atari 2600
Video olympics, q*bert, donkey kong, frogger, chopper command, pitfall, tac-scan. -
If it doesn't have a scart, which I assume it doesn't since he's in connecticut, there is a simple design that will solve your problem here I've tested it and it works fine.

I think that activision should do something like Itunes with their roms, you pay a dollar, you can download one of their games.

@Thomas Now all I need to be able to play every good 2600 game is: An eprom burner An eprom eraser A f4 bankswitch board from pixels past And a dig dug cart. Anyone willing to donate for my cause is welcome to.

I just got the supercharger and I have some thoughts
Tsukasa replied to homerwannabee's topic in Atari 2600
Actually, I think Chad uses the name cschell. BTW Great deal on the supercharger! I got mine used with all documents Phaser Patrol and the box for $40 freakin' bux. What type is yours, Arcadia or Starpath? Mines the Arcadia version. It even has a sticker on the box that says Arcadia has changed it's name to starpath. -

There's three different versions of tetris for the 2600. Edtris, Tetris 2600, and Cubis. I'm not sure if any of the roms for these games have been publicly released, so I won't post them until I'm sure. Personally, I like Cubis the best, because edtris is locked so it won't run on an emulator or on the real hardware, and Tetris 2600 is colorful, but is very shakey(literally, the screen shakes up and down) and the rotation of the pieces is not very good. But if you decide to go with Cubis, mute your TV when you play because the music that plays is very annoying and will drive you crazy.

Does anyone know how to servive a POP 2600 unit?
Tsukasa replied to MattG/Snyper2099's topic in Hardware
FYI: The TIA has 40 pins, and is part number CO10444. Make sure that the notches on the ends of the chups match up with the notches on the sockets. Putting a chip in backwards may cause overheating. -
A good rule,to tell if your a heavyweight of Atari 2600
Tsukasa replied to homerwannabee's topic in Atari 2600
Doesn't work for me. I weigh 124 and I only have 16 games. One of which is a supercharger so I don't know if all of the games that I have put on tape for it count or not. -
How can anyone like reactor? It's too hard!

What, there's nothing wrong with the switch panel on your 2600 reminding you of a blender. If you get an on-off-momentary on switch, you could wire pulse to reset.
-
What ya do is get a nice, good, heavy-duty toggle switch and mount it into the switch panel. Or, better yet, replace it with a push button switch like the one on the nes.

The PB version of frogger doesn't even have flicker, compared to Pac Man.
-
Yeah, that's right. Fire it up in mame! The bricks were destroyable.
