  1. If you don't intend to sell it, I would desolder and remove the switch, and replace it with a spst no pushbutton switch because that is the way that it is wired on the board. Or, you could remove the select switch and put it where the reset switch was and use a pushbutton for the select switch instead. That would probably be better because the switches tend to bounce.
  2. I have a 4-switch vader that I am planning on making into a handheld. The only problem is that it has a dead TIA chip. I know for certain that it is the TIA chip because I swapped chips with my working 6-switch and it didn't work.
  3. Here is the pinout/schematic for the booster grip.

That's a Willem, right? I have seriously considered buying one of those! How well does it work? I downloaded the software and I am pretty impressed! Would you reccomend it? I'm asking this because all of the eprom burners that I have built haven't worked. Maybe it's just because I am not very good at building things . I am worried that it won't work and I'll be out $50 bucks, Which is a lot of money for me. I need to get a job.
  5. That really seems to over complicate a simple project. It's not that complicated, besides, it lets you use your NES controllers on your atari without ruining them. It converts the NES serial data to parallel suitable for an atari.
  6. First, the pinouts are here http://www.atariage.com/2600/archives/sche...sories_Low.html Second, the driving controller is a 16 position, rotary binary switch. What that means is that when you turn the switch, it increases or decreases the binary-coded-decimal count (depending on the direction that you turn it). For example, there are 4 pins plus a common ground. Here is the logic diagram,
  7. I am looking for gyruss for the 2600. PM me if you have have one.
  8. Here is a design that uses a Pic16f84 and a 4094 shift register to convert the serial nes controller data back into parallel. http://squishy.ameth.org/~veilleux/n2atari/?N=D
  9. I had the same problem with that kind of wire. It's also in some phone extension cords. The best thing to do is to use phone line splicing connectors. They bite into the wire through the insulation so the wire doesn't break.
  10. ANOTHER supercharger!? So thats why I haven't been able to find one!
  11. Help! I have been looking on ebay for quite a while for a supercharger, but they are all too expensive or have outrageously high shipping charges. I don't care if it's modded or not, nor do I care if it's PAL or NTSC. PM me with a price if you have one.
