    Okay, found my old Iphone 3 and loaded it up with Stella Got a New Brain, and Worship the Woodgrain to be Frankensteined to the Supercharger on the 2600!

      Mykgerard, you just used the phone as an MP3 player, right? So no reason it HAD to be a 10-year-old device.

      yeah, I had a few old iphone 3's laying around and taking up space and I didn't want to put the mp3's on a device I actually listened to because I didn't want an earful of loud obnoxious code.

    the 800xl works...although I'm going to have to open it up and look to look at the ram as it's not showing a full three lines of green squares (no red though).

      Hope it really works and wasn't fried due to someone plugging the wrong adapter into it. :-)

      yeah it's like 20 games or something out of 300

      I've seen a few lists, but they never seem to delineate cartridge vs floppy vs cassette. Apparently for some floppy games a fix is a floppy translator patch. I don't think there is a cartridge fix.

      it works! now to get the bigger/better/safer best electronics adapter... I bought a cheapy one on ebay because I didn't want to go all out if the 800xl didn't work (it wasn't tested).
