Just did a trade / sale with Shawn Sr on the Chuckwagon / GameGavel. He got Several NES carts and I picked up his Pit Fighter 7800. Great stuff and a great person to deal with. Good communication and a smooth, trouble free deal. Hope to do more in the future.

Aaaargghh! I meant to post this in Auction Central. If I could impose on one of the mods to move this for me. Sorry for the inconvenience....

Most by 10% or more! Check it out. Lots of NES, SNES, Sega Genesis games. Great Colecovision set with driving module. A few fine vintage PC games. Something for everyone. If you haven't checked out the Chuckwagon for a while, this is a great time. Listings are at an all time high and there are lots of great deals! The link to my auctions is in my signature.

Please have a look. Also adding more Genesis games later in the week. The link is in my signature.

I've got all those, but I'd give them a try on the Chuckwagon. I'll bet they'd sell. -

Imagic Swords and Serpents for the Intellivision Great game! Spent I don't know how long to get to...... The lamest ending screen in the Universe! Hey! Mr Developer! How bout you put up a little box that says 'You win' or 'This Dragon ain't gonna do anything. It's just here for show' or 'Turn the console off now and go to bed.' Any Damn thing! Review: Gameplay ..... 9 Graphics ..... 8.5 Engaging 2 player cooperative play..... 9.5 Lame Ass Ending....... 1 (the scale doesn't go below 1) -
big $ 4 rare carts to 'complete' collection? rationalize!
oldgames replied to Derek's topic in Atari 2600
I think that's one of the great things about this hobby (the collecting part). Each person can set their own 'target collection'. For some, this may be all games possible, for others it may be all the games they had back in the day, some may enjoy collecting a particular company..... Almost an endless set of possibilities. Whatever the individual enjoys hunting for. Each collector is unique, so it makes perfect sense that the goals and priorities would cover a vast range also. I think the part I enjoy the most is finding old, neglected games and sytems. A little cleaning and TLC and something that was one spring cleaning away from the dumpster is transformed into something that can be once again provide some real fun; collecting, playing, or both. -
What's the first videogame you ever played?
oldgames replied to lushgirl_80's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Stretching a point, I'm sure but my first 'electronic gaming' experience was tic-tac-toe on a PDP-11 at an Engineering Open House at the University of Illinois circa 1969. Then, Star Trek on PLATO. Didn't really catch the Pong craze somehow, but I was there when they turned it on it's side and added bricks for Breakout! First home console game = Combat on the Atari VCS. -

Just bought some Intellivision games from Warriorisabouttodie and everything went great! Highly recommended.

If he was shipping first class this would be true but he is shipping it via priority mail which will cost a minimum of $4.80 so I think its a fair cost. If you really want the item mail him and ask if he'll do first class at a reduced cost. That's what I was thinking also. Just to give an idea here are some cost for first class padded envelope shipping for loose cartridges. (padded envelopes cost me 50 cents each in 10 packs at Office Depot.) 3 oz - Intellivision and most Atari 2600 will be about 3 oz $1.51 + .50 envelope = $2.01 4 oz - Nes, SNES, Lighter N64, Heaver Atari 2600 Atari 5200 will be about 4 oz $1.68 + .50 envelope = $2.18 5 oz - Heavier N64 carts $1.85 + .50 envelope = $2.35 I don't think you can send any cart for $1.25 anymore. I charge $2.50 and pay for delivery confirmation for carts that sell higher than I want to be out of pocket for. For combined shipping, I charge the post office rate for the combined weight and use the different sizes of flat rate boxes if those work out cheaper.

I don't buy games just to upgrade condition, but I'll buy larger lots to get a few games I need. I always go thru the extras and clean them up to sell anyway, so it just takes another minute to do a quick check to see if it is better than the one in my collection. As others have mentioned, I keep some stuff that I bought back in the day for sentimental reasons, but most of it is in pretty good shape to start with. If I find something better, I'll keep both. The ones I orginally had is on a special shelf anyway, so I can always tell which they are.
