I guess I was confusing myself with the 480i crt. I can stop trying now lol. Thanks for the info. I can just use the composite out form the FV310 I guess. Would it not work with the signal coming out of the PVM if I used that? Out from NT Mini to PVM. PVM out to Elgato HD? update: Tried using the composite out from FV310 to the Video Capture device/software. Can't get video, but sound it fine. Also tried using GC HD with the HD software. Out from NT Mini via component to the FV310. Out from FV310 composite to GC HD device using the yellow video composite cable to the GC HD red rca video in, also red/yellow rca audio. No picture even when having exactly how it the diagram shows. Next try will be NT Mini to PVM via component, then component out from PVM to the GC HD.

Anyone know how to use Elgato Game Capture HD with the NT Mini? I can't get it to work properly at all. The GC HD works with PS2 via component, but not working with the NT Mini via component.

Maybe I took it wrong and thought it meant the signal is proprietary, not the dac.

I've been doing this for the past five and a half years. I have a really good support system with my family and specialist. Don't be sorry. I'm at a place now that they never thought I could be. I write down a LOT of things. I have a daily schedule that I use for daily tasks, chores, development time, free time. Notes section I use to put things like this conversation in.

Well, the poop in my party is that I can't "learn" an entire language with all that goes with it. My coding days are extremely limited due to a brain injury I had, and I don't have short term memory any more. Basically I can't convert short term to long term memory. So, what I learned earlier today, I won't remember it later in the evening. I used to be proficient in BASIC, PASCAL, LUA, JavaScript, and.... C; as much as I've lost due to the injury, it's really hard to even use things I was well versed in before. The Playgrounds app in iOS has been hard to even do the basics. So there's that. That's why I was interested in seeing what I quoted.

I have plenty of content for my one year old 4k tv. Almost 100 movies, and a handful of games, seems pretty worth it for me so far. Everything I have bought for it takes advantage of the 4K/HDR. Watching the movies I have on blu-ray in 1080p then watching that same movie in 4k/hdr, yeah, there's a definite difference. The same with games. Playing Gears 4 on my 1080p set vs playing in 4k with hdr. Like I said, there's content out there, and more coming all the time.

Yeah, I'll hold 'em till they don't work lol. My CRT avenue right now: Brand new in box - Sony KV-27FV310. It was still sealed in the box. Box still properly sealed as if it just came off the line last week. Hopefully this will last a LONG time for me. It's beautiful. Brand new in box - Ultrak KM1900CN. Also brand new in box, sealed as if it just came off the line. Also gorgeous crt. Used in hospital - Sony PVM-20L2MD. Needed a diode replaced. Great picture, still looks "mostly" brand new. They are all 12+ years old since date of manufacture, and I hope they last a really long time. lol My 3d tv is a Vizio XVT3D554SV that I bought on huge Amazon sale in 2011. It's working really well still. Love it. Most current tv is a Vizio P65-C1 4K. I bought it mid last year. I hope these last a good bit as well.

Goodness @replacing tv's in just a couple years lol. I usually keep mine until one dies lol, unless something significant comes around. That's never happened to warrant a new purchase. I got a 3d tv when my main tv went dead to the lightning strike. That was July, 2011. My bedroom tv was given to my son for him moving into his first home away from home, so I bought a 4k tv last year. As long as these two tv's work, I can't buy another lol.

If there isn't a j/b for the Super, like the Nt Mini uses, then I hope the cart slot is miles better than the cart slot for the NT Mini. My only complaint for my NT Mini is the cart slot is just about useless for me.
