  4. That was a nice video lol. The dialogue was funny for sure. Sub'd. That large Sony you have in there. Would love to know your opinions on getting one now. What model is it, etc.? I personally use a Sony KV-27FS100 for N64 and anything before that. I don't mind using a 22" AOC computer LCD for some capture via HDMI if need be, but I have the gear to do captures from the component/CRT/NES/SNES, etc. as well. I prefer CRT for the older consoles.
  5. Nothing is ever quite as amazing as the cart, but still... adding these to the SNT is very awesome in my eyes.
  6. If this actually comes with carts... I can't describe the feeling....
  7. The wait though... Feb can't get here fast enough lol.
  8. I hope it's ok to post this.. since this does have to do with the Super NT... https://vimeo.com/238547326/0be6c0a830
  9. So I don't have to keep pulling carts from the console. It makes perfect sense for my wants/needs.
  10. I'm skeptical about not having analog out for some CRT goodness, but I'll just convert the HDMI to VGA I guess... pre-ordered. It'll look nice next to my NT Mini, which I use A LOT lol. Having the SD slot pushed me into the "but it now" category even though I have a perfectly good SNES original and SNES Classic.
  11. I looked, looked, and then looked some more before deciding on which to get. Analogue NT Mini was a perfect fit for me. I already have the Classic, and I have a nice little retro pi setup. Heck, I have a OG NES. The NT Mini has everything I wanted.
  12. Question... (did I miss this already?) Using the NES core, instead of just using my carts, is there a difference? Example, just using my SMB3 cart vs loading the ROM via core?
  13. Super Mario Bros. Easily beat in less than 8 minutes, and that isn't even a speed run.
  14. I went through a lot of decision making and ended up going with the Analogue NT Mini. Yes, it was priced almost out of touch for me, and I was worried that I wouldn't justify the cost. After getting it, I don't have a single doubt about getting it. I love it.
  15. Finally used the vga/component cable with my Nt mini to my Sony KV-27FS100. GLORIUS!! There is no way for me to go back to HDMI/4k tv. I just can't. This looks absolutely fantastic! Bonus is that the input lag is non-existent. LOVE IT!
  16. I'd be happy to do it for ya. I'm probably not tooo far from ya.

    WTB: NEC XM29 (Plus)

Living in the US, in South Carolina, and I'll drive pretty much anywhere lol. If you have an NEC XM29 (or the Plus), and are looking to sell it, let me know.
  18. Yeah, I've loaded all the palettes from that link already. Thanks for the comparison shots. I'm not so much concerned, I guess, about what I see. I'm interested in what is captured and what others see. I'm probably making this out to be more than it is lol.
  19. I did think about posting in there. After doing a cap on my original NES, I can see that the look isn't that much different. I just liked the blue sky lol. I appreciate the reply.
  20. I've loaded a few palettes from FirebrandX, but haven't found the same output as the top picture.
  21. Ok, here is three different looks at SMB. Emulator (unknown palette) Analogue NT Mini (FCEUX palette) Original NES I'm really interested in getting the looks of the first picture, but not sure which palette that is. None of the options in the NT Mini produce that type of result. Any suggestions on how to reproduce that, or is the NT mini with the FCEUX or FirebrandX palettes really close to the original? Can we add another palette?
  22. Again, appreciate it a lot for all the help I've been shown. Respect.
  23. iMovie is still limited. I don't mind investing in the software, so I'm leaning towards the ones you listed. I can use Mac or PC so there's that too. I'll weigh the options and see which out of those will be the best option considering the prices, etc. I appreciate the help.
